"I'm so excited!" I said with my face pressed against the airplane window as we began to land. Louis just laughed at me and grabbed my hand.
As soon as we landed and got the go ahead to grab our stuff and exit the plane, I was practically out the door already. Louis had a hard time keeping up with me as I ran off the jet. I was just so excited to finally see London.
"Jess, you are killing me here,"he grumbled as he finally caught up.
"Lou! I am in Heathrow Airport right now one of the busiest airports in the world in London, England. I can't slow down!" I explained. He just laughed some more and wrapped his arm around my waist guiding me through the terminal to baggage claim.
We cleared customs fairly quickly and ended up on a bench just outside of the doors.
"The guys were supposed to be here by now," Louis mumbled as he put his phone to his ear. I could hear the faint sound of Louis' phone ringing. There was no answer. "You have got to be fucking kidding me right now," Louis grumbled.
"Ya fucking losers. Can't they ever be on time?" I heard someone say from behind. I turned to see Niall ' s head nudged in between mine and Louis'. Louis and I quickly both shot up to see the rest of the boys standing there.
"Hey!" Lou yelled walking up to the boys. They all looked so different from the last time I saw them. More tattoos, less hair. Or more hair depending on which one you're looking at. They did their group hug and all greeted each other. I decided to let them have their moment.
"Jess! Get your ass over here!" Harry yelled. I smiled and joined them.
"You look so beautiful," Harry said grabbing me and planting a slobbering wet kiss on my forehead.
"It's so nice to see you again!" Liam said wrapping his arms around me. He squeezed me tight lifting my feet off the ground.
"Hey Jess," Zayn said. Zayn gave me a quick hug.
"We are so glad to see you," Niall said as he hugged me tightly and kissed my cheek.
"Yes and I am glad to see you guys too!" I said back away from Niall, grabbing my suitcase and backpack.
"Wow you guys are more excited to see my girlfriend than me," Louis joked as he to grabbed his stuff off the bench.
"Well she's nicer to look at," Harry laughed. Harry came over and grabbed both my suitcase and bag from me. "Don't worry I got it love," he said with a wink. Harry no longer looked like the young boy I met awhile ago. He now could easily pass for 20. And it's only been a few months. I watched Niall as he grabbed Louis' suitcase for him too.
"We brought two cars because Zayn has got shit to do apparently," Niall laughed.
"I have been gone for so long Zayn and I have been here for literally an hour and you're already ditching me," Louis joked as we walked through the airport.
"How dare you Zayn? How dare you have a life," I said sarcastically.
"At least someone gets it. I'll see you guys in a few. We can meet up for lunch," he laughed, walking away. We continued walking through the airport.
"So Jess, how's life going?" Harry asked.
"Well...it's going," I said. I wouldn't dare drop all the shit that has gone on recently on Harry.
"Alright, I guess," he laughed. The automatic doors opened and we walked outside. I couldn't really see much of London from where we were standing. Just a lot of... roads. It was a little cold but not bad, probably a little warmer then would it would be back home.
"Hope you brought your jacket Jess. It gets pretty cold here," Niall said.
"I live in Canada..."
"Good point."
...
"Oh my god, that house is so cute!" I screamed. My face was pressed against the window in the car this time. Louis voluntarily squeezed in the middle seat allowing me to have a window. The architecture was unbelievable. There was so many pretty stone houses, just like how you would picture it.
"And it probably costs a million pounds," Liam informed me. My jaw dropped. It was a pretty tiny house.
"That would be why none of us live here and just drive in when necessary," Niall replied.
"Speaking of driving, if you could not kill us Niall that would be great," Louis groaned. As soon as he said that, Niall took a sharp turn.
"What?" Niall questioned.
"Never mind," Louis sighed
....
"This is quite a fancy hotel room," I said plopping down on the bed. I swear I sank 5 inches into the fluffy comforter and it was glorious.
"Ya well the label that wants to sign us put us here," Louis said, laying down beside me.
"If they are trying to bribe you tell them it's working," I laughed. Louis snuggled closer to me and grabbed my hand. I turned my face towards him.
"I'm glad you're here," he whispered. There is something about his blue sparkling eyes staring at me that made the butterflies in the pit of my stomach flutter.
"Me too. " I gave him a quick kiss on the lips and sat up.
"I'm not done yet," he laughed pulling me back down and kissing me some more. I giggled and he started kissing my neck.
"Although I'd love to lay here and do this all day, we are in London and I would like to actually see London," I said pushing him away.
"Fine," he sighed, but it was with a smile.
There was a knock at our door and Louis got up to answer it. Niall strolled in and then slowly after that so did Harry and Liam.
"We are going to get some lunch, you two want to come?" Niall asked. I watched as he sat down in the desk chair in our hotel room and spun around as if he was a five year old.
"Ya we will come," Louis answered.
"Ya just let me get out of my gross traveling clothes first," I said.
"Alright we will meet you in the lobby in five," Liam said before they all walked out of the room closing the door behind us.
...
"So we meet with the label tomorrow at 8:30 for dinner," Liam said. The guys nodded in agreement and continued to stuff their face. I'm glad someone has an idea of what is going on. If it wasn't for Liam I'm sure half of them would be dead by now. Especially Niall and Harry, both of them are reckless little shits.
"Right. That means we have to figure our shit by tonight," Niall replied. I didn't realize there was stuff still to figure out. I listened carefully to their conversation in silence as I continued to eat.
"It is possible that they may offer us a 3 or 4 year contract. We have to know where we stand on that all together and percentages of cuts and stuff like that," Liam informed everyone. Three to four years was a long time if you ask me, especially if you have only been on this planet for 17 years. That's like a quarter of my life.
"Three years? I thought we were only talking about like one or two," Harry said, seeming slightly distressed. He was probably thinking the same thing as me. Louis remained fairly neutral expressioned through this conversation and I was wondering what his thoughts were.
"What if they are a shitty label and we sign a contract with them for three years and we want out after one. We would be screwed," Zayn pointed out.
"Um I don't mean to interject here and sound like a complete bitch, but do you guys have any other offers? Because if you don't you are just going to have to take what you get and deal with it. You guys have no bartering power what so ever," I interuppted. Did I want Louis to sign a 3 year contract? No. But did I want him to sign a contract? Yes.
"She has a point," Niall admitted. They all stared at each other, exchanging looks. No one had the guts to look at me, especially Louis. He knew what signing a 3 year contract meant. It would mean 3 years here in England.
"So.... what do we do boys?"
...
"Did you have fun today?" Louis asked, as he crawled into bed.
"Yes!!! There is just so much history here and you know me and my love for history!" Sometimes I can be such a nerd but I really don't care.
"That's why I thought you would like the Tower of London," Louis said.
"Yes I loved it! And doing the London Eye at night was such a great idea. So beautiful, I always wanted to do that," I squealed.
"Good I'm glad." He said it so monotone and flat.
"Louis, seriously you have been moping all day," I complained.
"It's just..." he trailed off.
"It's just you're thinking about what Liam said this afternoon and you're letting it get to your head," I finished. He let out a deep sigh and closed his eyes, like he was thinking extremely hard. Probably weighing out the pros and cons right now. I slid closer to him, finding his hand and intertwining it with mine.
"I'm not letting it get to me...I know... I know what I want," he paused, his bright blue eyes opening,"And it's not a three year contract." I'm not letting him throw his life away because of me. I will not fuck up his life. I would feel guilty forever.
"Louis, nothing is for sure yet, you can't make up your mind yet. We will cross that bridge when we get to it," I told him.
"I've already made up my mind Jess... and it's whatever decision let's me be with you."
And in that moment I knew what I had to do.Hi Guys I know this literally took forever but I have had a lot going on lately and I know I am shitty ass person but I am determined to finish this book because I would be an even shittier person if I didn't :). So I don't know when I will update next but I will try my hardest to make it soon. Love you guys and thanks for sticking with me through everything. (I know this chapter kinda sucks I'm going to try and make the next one better)
