Chapter 50

Jess' P.O.V.

I heard Todd calling my name from downstairs.  What could he possibly want? Maybe he got over his hang over and felt like yelling at me.

"What?!" I groaned as I walked to the stairs. I heard yelling.  Were Todd and Louis fighting? I ran down the stairs as fast as I could. I walked into the tv room to see an angry looking Todd, fists balled up at his sides.

"Have something you would like to tell me?" he asked through gritted teeth. Well there was lots of things but I didn't think they were necessary to discuss. I looked at Louis who looked like he might either vomit or punch something in any minute.

"Jess I-" Louis started.

"Shut up!" my brother yelled.  Whoa, what was pushing his buttons?

"Someone want to tell me what's going on?" I asked.

"No I need you to tell me what's going on!" he yelled. Oh no. Is this what I think it is? I looked at Louis and he just shook his head. Shit. Don't freak out Jess it could be one of the many things you have done wrong in your life. Or not. Probably not.

"I don't know what you want from me Todd," I said timidly.

"I want you to tell me everything!" he yelled. He yelled so loud I was actually starting to get scared. I have never seen him this mad. There is only one thing that would make him this angry and it was Louis and me being together.

"There's no need to yell mate," Louis piped in.

"I am not your 'mate' right now!" Louis took a step back from him.

"Can you just calm down, please?" I should have never asked because now he was fuming.

"Do you think I can calm down?! I just found out that my best friend is fucking my sister! My little sister!" How did he find out? I seriously doubt Louis willingly told him. What ever, that doesn't matter right now.

"Whoa! We are not fucking each other," I told him.

"But your seeing each other, aren't you!?" Louis looked at me and I looked at him hoping for some sort of reassurance.

"We are," he spoke up. He mouthed an "I'm sorry" to me.

"Tell me every little fucking detail," Todd said. Every detail? I don't think he wants every detail. "When did it start? How did it start?" he asked.

"A week before school started," I said quietly. Todd ran his hand through his hair, which meant he was stressed.

"You have been going behind my back for two months now? I can't believe you two. How?" he snapped.

"Well I took her to a few parties and I kissed her. Look Todd she wanted to tell you but I stopped her," Louis said quickly. Not the most detailed description but it summed it up.

"What! You wanted to tell him but I stopped you," I said.

"That's-" Louis started but Todd cut him off.

"You have been lying to me this whole time, Jess. How could you? And Louis, you're supposed to be my best friend and you betrayed me." Todd was hurt. I could tell by his voice. Don't cry, Jess, don't cry, I told myself.

"I never wanted to lie to you I just knew that you would never approve of us," I admitted.

"You're right, Jess. Do you want to know why? Because out of every man on this planet you chose one of the worst," he spat. It was like I had just been punched in the face by his words. How could he say that about Louis? The tears started to fall.
