Chapter 55

I ran down the hallway body checking Amanda in the process.

"Ow! What the hell?" she yelled rubbing her arm. I grabbed her, pulling her into my arms for a hug.

"Isn't today just beautiful?!" I asked as I let her go. She stared at me like I was crazy.

"Did you sprinkle crack on your cheerios this morning?" she asked.

"No I'm just happy," I sighed.

"Why?"

"No Tyler, Louis and I are back together, we don't have to hide anymore and Louis is taking me out for dinner tonight. Like in an actual restaurant on an actual date," I said excitedly.

"That's good. I see you have a few new additions," Amanda pointed out. I'm not sure exactly what she was talking about.

"What do you mean?" I asked. Out of the blue she flicked my neck sending sharp shooting pain through my neck. That shouldn't have hurt that bad.

"Those are way worse then last time. What did he do, take a vacuum to you neck?" she laughed.

"No," I said self consciously covering my neck remember the marks Louis left.

"It must be great to be in a relationship," she sighed slamming her locker.

"It is but yet it isn't...but yet it is," I explained.

"Ya sure sounds like you got your mind made up," she said sarcastically.

"It has it's ups and downs." She nodded but she also gave me an eye roll. "Don't you want a guy that can make your heart race? Or make butterflies in stomach? Don't you just want to find that one person you want to be with 24/7 and not get tired of?" I said thinking of Louis the entire time.

"Well ya of course I do but it's not easy."

"It is." She stared at me for a moment. I could tell that she wanted to argue with me but she didn't. She opened her mouth and closed it again before finally speaking up.

"Walk me to my car?" she asked randomly.

"Sure," I replied.

We walked side by side to the parking lot, stopping at her car.

"Do you need a ride?" she asked.

"No Louis should be picking me up," I replied. She opened her car door waiting before getting in.

"Ok well you two have tonight. And don't get pregnant!" she yelled before getting in. I laughed before turning around and walking to the front of the school.

I saw Louis' car parked out front in it's usual spot, waiting for me like always. I ran to the car hoping in to the passenger seat, a smile on my face from ear to ear.

"Hey," he said giving me a quick kiss.

"Hey," I said back. He put the car into drive, driving out into the road.

"Why are you so smiley?" he asked laughing slightly.

"Because I'm happy," I answered. He smiled back, his hand interlocking with mine.

"Good, that's good. If you're happy then I'm happy." We drove to his house discussing our days and what we did. His was much more interesting than mine. He was telling me about the crazy music theory teacher he has. The only I did today was take notes until my fingers started bleeding.

We arrived at his house shortly after.

"So what are the plans for tonight?" I asked sitting down on the couch. He sat down beside me, resting his arm around my shoulders.
