We've come to the end of the book. 😭😭 I love you all! Thank you for being with me in this journey. I'm very thankful for the support you've been giving me. ❤️❤️

Anyways I'll be posting the Epilogue soon. But in the meantime, I wanted to share some facts or things that were initially planned but not executed in the book.

1) Yeshna was not supposed to be Rudroneel's sister. But instead a mutual friend of Rudroneel and Aaruthira.

Somehow it didn't work out as both Yeshna's and Rudroneel's age gap was big and they were not from the same profession as well. So it's unlikely they knew each other.

2) Aaruthira and Rudroneel were to meet in a Durga pooja where he throws the vermilion on her accidentally. Cliché, I know. But I was like nooooo!

3) Andrea was supposed to be a bitch. The one that insults people's work. But I changed her to be Aaruthira's friend.

4) Turvi was not supposed to be married to Rudroneel's cousin, Rishab. But I wanted a strong reason why Maitra was not close to her sister

5) Rashid was just suppose to be an intern but I wanted him to be the cute guy that had a crush on his senior

6) When I planned the story, there was no such character as Siddharth. He came out of nowhere. Siddharth, Avyan's half brother, was initially to be the total opposite of his brother.

He was supposed to be interested in Aaruthira but he was respectful. Somehow I changed my mind and he became the evil one.

7) Riya and Siddharth were to be there as characters that will be close to the main lead to create jealousy and possessiveness.

8) Aaruthira was to have an affair actually. Maybe like a kiss with Siddharth. And Riya was supposed to do the same with Rudroneel. But he was to push her away where as Aaruthira would have reciprocated the kiss.

Before anyone comes for me, I want to explain why. Not justifying that cheating is right. It will never be unless your partner does it first! 🙄

But... it was at the time period after she had a miscarriage and Rudroneel wasn't talking to her. She needed support and assurance and she found that in Siddharth.

But I wanted no affair and cheating shit! Hiding from JJayaripathu

9) Nidra was supposed to be the biological daughter of Aaruthira and Rudroneel, but it didn't match the timeline. And since I wanted to incorporate an adoption in the story, Nidra came in.

10) In chapter 46, Aaruthira talking about her body was not in the plan. But somehow, without me realising, I pushed all of those words into Aaruthira's character. It  was needed to show and create awareness that all body types are perfect.

11) In the initial thought process when there was not storyline yet, I had thought to name the female lead Ahana and she was going to be a professor. The male lead was Viknesh / Vikrant.

But it didn't succeed as I wanted more unique names. And also, I wanted Rudroneel to be a professor instead as I've hardly seen male lead being in a teaching profession.

Never did I once thought that I will write a book. I used to watch Hindi seriels. And in all that I watched, the male leads were always the rich ones with business or something while the female lead will be from a middle class family.

So I used to think, why don't they make a seriel where it shows reality. Or that both the leads are from a normal middle class family, educated and stable.

For about 2 years, I waited. Hoping someone on Wattpad will write the story I wanted. To have a representation of what I wanted. Eventually, I did read some beautiful books which are a few of my favourites.

However at the back of my mind, something always kept bugging me. The story in my thoughts will never be known to others. So finally I told myself, no one is going to write your story. You will have to do it if you want.

I planned out my storyline. I drew a mindmap with details of what was going to happen and how the story was going to flow. On the same day, I wrote my First Chapter, about 500 words.
