Rudra and Ruthira reached the restaurant and went inside. Once they saw their families they couldn't stop laughing. They had taken up one side of the restaurant just for themselves.
The elders together with Adhi and Nila sat at a 6-seater table while Aran and Yeshna sat in 4-seater beside the elders.
Ovi was given a high chair which was placed beside Aran and Yeshna's table in a way everyone could have a direct view of him.
"Omg, finally they are here! I thought I would have to eat dinner instead of lunch", Aran said making everyone laugh.
"Haha so funny", Ruthira said while sitting beside him. "So shall we order now", Rudra asked as he settled down opposite Ruthira and beside Yeshna.
Everyone gave their orders and waited with small chats. Just as Ruthira was looking around, she felt something fuzzy crawling up her leg.
She looked down to see it was Rudra's feet. He had removed his shoe, so it was his socks which gave the fuzzy feeling.
She signaled him through her eyes to stop but he smirked and moved his leg higher. "Bhai! Are you even listening", an annoyed Yeshna snapped.
"Yes, yes. It- it's a good idea", Rudra stammered while Ruthira stifled her laughter. "Neel, are you out of your mind or what", Maitra exclaimed.
"She is saying she wants a civil wedding and you say okay. I only have one daughter and her wedding must be grand. Moreover, it's in two months", Maitra huffed.
"But Ma it's her wedding, she should make the decisions, not us", Rudra said.
"Kanna, you have to understand her views as well. She only has one daughter so it's understandable if she wants to do it grandly. Even I would do Aaru's wedding grandly", Mohanraj said.
"NO! I want a simple wedding", Rudra shouted gaining a few random heads to turn.
Rudra understood his mistake and covered it up, "I meant that no matter what, I will do a simple wedding".
All except Maitra and Adhi smiled and a few chuckled. "First find someone", Maitra scoffed while Ruthira choked on her lemonade.
"Akka, are you okay", Aran asked while patting her head. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine", she said. Soon everyone continued eating with their full concentration except one person.
