'Knock Knock'!
"Yeshna, are you up", Maitra knocked the door. Despite Yeshna's protest, Ruthira opened the room door. "You girls are not ready? The wedding is today not next week".
"Yes Ma sorry, we woke up now only", she explained. "Hurry. You go get ready in my room, it'll save time", Maitra suggested. "Okay", Ruthira took her outfit and followed Maitra, leaving a sleepy Yeshna with three other sleeping beauty.
After about 20 minutes both the girls were ready to leave. Yeshna wore a plain red saree while Ruthira had worn a yellow sari with pink blouse.
They left the hotel room with Yeshna receiving congratulations. They reached the parking lot only to fall in love harder. Abhijeet was wearing a plain beige cotton kurta and Rudra was wearing the same cotton kurta in yellow.
"We have booked this van, we'll be going in it". Only their immediate family members and bridesmaid and groomsman were there. As for Yeshna, Ruthira was her bridesmaid and for Abhi, Rudra was his groomsman.
Rudra drove the van as fast as possible. Fortunately, they reached the venue at 9.20. Abhi and Yeshna quickly registered their names and waited for their turn. As they were busy taking photos, Rudra decided to start a conversation with Ruthira.
"You are gorgeous and I feel like getting married to you this instant". She blushed, "I fell even harder for you when I saw you in your Kurta back at the hotel".
Before he could continue the conversation, the officer call them. "Abhijeet Sharma and Yeshna Roy Chowdhury", the whole gang moved in.
Abhijeet and Yeshna were asked to read the certificate to check for any mistake. When no mistakes were found, "okay now you can exchange the garlands and then you can sign".
As Abhijeet and Yeshna exchanged the garlands, their family clapped and cheered for them. Rudra and Ruthira shared a small eye lock that moment, eagerly awaiting their own wedding.
Once the couple signed the certificate, they hugged each other tightly. Once they pulled out, everyone started hugging and congratulating them. "The two witnesses can sign here".
"Go beta", Maitra gently pushed Ruthira forward. Rudra waited for her to sign, and once she was done, he signed.
"Soon it will be your wedding cert", Yeshna whispered into Ruthira's ears, making her blush. She looked up at Rudra only to see him already looking at her.
"Okay, so you can collect the certificate next week. Congratulations", the officer shook his hand with Abhijeet and Yeshna.
