"Neel, everyone's here now. Where's your wife", Mohanraj asked looking around the flat. Ruthira and Rudra had called their family to come over to their flat to announce something important.
"Okay, okay I'll go get her". Rudra opened the room door to see the most beautiful scene. His wife rocking their daughter to sleep.
"Ruthira, come. Everyone's here". She looked at him and nodded. Rudra went out of the room first followed by Ruthira who was holding their daughter to her chest.
"Finally you're out",Yeshna sighed. "Who's baby is that", Maitra asked observing the baby. Rudra held Ruthira's hand and nodded. "Everyone, this is our daughter".
There was only silence around the room. "Ruthira found her in one of her investigation site, and we officially adopted her after that". "When did this even happen"?
"Two months ago, Amma", Ruthira mumbled. "Wow, that's pretty long", Aran added. "Are y'all not happy"? "What rubbish! Of course we are happy, Aaru", Maitra said.
"We are happy beta, it's just very sudden", Shaswat added. Nila stood up and took the baby from Ruthira's hands. "So pretty, she's got your curly hair and Neel's green eyes".
"Biologically she's not their daughter though", Aran mumbled. "ARANEESH"! He flinched on hearing everyone in the room scream his name out.
"Open your mouth, only when needed", Nila glared at him before passing the baby to Brinda. Everyone had a chance to carry the baby and give her some kisses.
"Have y'all named our granddaughter", Mohanraj asked, rocking his granddaughter. "We have thought of a name, but we will only reveal it during her naming ceremony", Rudra chuckled.
"That's fair", Adhi said while taking the baby in his arms. "I'm so happy, both my kids have their own kids", Maitra mumbled wiping her tears. Shaswat rubbed her back to calm her down.

NGO for Women and Children
Most of the girls who were rescued that day, were residing at the NGO. Some of them returned to their family while some girls' family didn't accept them.
Everyone was studying under the NGO's expenses. A couple of them even went overseas to pursue their education. Ruthira never failed to visit the girls whenever she had time.
"Oh sleeping beauty is here", Kaviya who had came to meet her friends, screeched making all attention turn towards Ruthira and the baby. "Aww, she's such a big girl now", another girl said.
"Hello Didi", Hasana squealed hugging Ruthira. "Hello". Kaviya took the baby from Ruthira's hands and all the girls gathered around her.
"What have you named her, Didi", she asked. "Well, we are only announcing her name in the naming ceremony, which is next week", Ruthira said, making herself comfortable on the chair.
