It was the morning after the quad had been admitted to hospital, and it was already time for those who were capable to leave. Todoroki was to be taken back to Endeavours agency and the other two boys were to be sent home and recover. Hajime however, had discovered that instead of her family picking her up, her aunt, Tomoko, was on her way.

When they communicated, Tomoko said she was nearby and it was more efficient for her to stop by the hospital. Kokoro knew it was a lie, she didn't understand why her aunt thought she could even keep secrets from her, let alone lie. Just by looking at someone, she could decipher their past, present and predict their future based on their previous choices and personality. There was no use in attempting to lie to her.

The telepath drew the curtain around her bed, quickly changing into some of the clothes that Manual had dropped off from her room at the agency. The scar she received form stain wasn't flattering, but it did make her seem a little badass. Kokoro always loved the concept of battle scars, they seemed like something a warrior should have and treasure. Although, Iida's scar was more of a reminder of his mistakes.

"My aunts on her way, she'll be taking me home and then I'll be out of the your hair." Hajime said to the boys.

"You probably already knew, but my fathers going to take me back to his agency soon too." Todoroki added.

"Just be careful not to crush anymore hands. We wouldn't want the curse to resurface too soon." The mind reader joked. Iida and Midoriya did their best to contain their laughter while Shoto gave a stern nod of understanding.

After her remark, the room went back into a comfortable silence, or it was for Todoroki and Hajime. Midoriya and Iida weren't overly fond of the silence that Hajime adored, they wanted to know more and it was beginning to ruin the silence inside their heads.

'Would I be rude if me and Iida spoke? I can tell he wants to but would she want to be in the conversation?'

'I feel as though Hajime and I got off on the wrong foot, she doesn't know who I really am, I need to fix that. Right?'

The telepath rolled her eyes and turned to face the culprits of noise. "You know I can hear you, right?" She spoke, quirking a brow.

"I'm sorry, I don't truly understand the full intensity of your quirk. You didn't go into such details." Iida apologised.

"I know you can read minds, but nothing more." Izuku added. 'Maybe I can add her to my hero analysis notes?'

Todoroki was also interested in the topic at hand, and shared his view. "Same here."

Kokoro sighed, her quirk was a nuisance but she wasn't ashamed of it, so she told her story. "The gist of it is that I'm a telepath. I can read minds, speak via telepathy, but I can also sense brain waves, hence the hero name. If the body is about to make a move, then I can sense it, along with quirk activation. Bakugo caught me off guard during the sports festival, but it won't happen again, I've been training to work around it." She explained. The boys all nodded, allowing her to continue.

"I got my quirk quite early on, it was confusing receiving all this information at once, as though it was implanting itself in my head. Think of it as speaking another language. It's better when you learn young, and it sticks with you. That's how it was when I was young, I'd learnt so much when I first got my quirk, somehow, I remember every last bit of it. But another downside to my quirk is that I know everything about everyone just by looking into their head, sometimes I don't mean to, but it's often just my way of feeling secure."

"That explains why you're not a fan of small talk." Midoriya thought aloud. "You already know everything about us, why would you want us to repeat things you already know." The boy lowered his gaze downwards, feeling a little guilty from all his attempts at talking to her in the past.
