"I'm sure you already know, but it won't just be a written exam. There's also a practical component. Make sure you train your minds and your bodies at the same time. That's all." Aizawa informed the class before leaving.
As soon as the classroom door closed, the students went into a state of panic. "I haven't studied at all!" Mina and Kaminari yelled. The two placed 20th and 21st out of the class.
"It's true we've had one event after the other." Tokoyami added, placing 15th.
"For the midterms, we'd just started school so they didn't cover much, so I didn't really have a hard time with them. But with the back to back events and stuff, the finals will be different." Sato stated, earning a nod from the boy who placed above him with 12th.
"It'll be tough since there's a practical exam too." Mineta said, acting as though he was above the others because of his test score.
"Tenth in midterms?!" Mina and Denki gasped.
"And here I was thinking you were one of us!" Ashido accused.
"Guys like you are only likeable if they're dumb!" Kaminari insulted.
"Ashido, Kaminari, let's do our best. We all want to go to the training camp together, right?" Midoriya smiled as he tried to encourage the two. He himself, scored 5th
"Yes! As class rep, I also have high hopes that you'll all be moved to action!" The 3rd place agreed.
"It's pretty hard to fail if you just pay attention in class." Todoroki, 6th placer said.
Hajime nudged him a little as a warning to show a little more compassion. "That was a brutal shot to their egos." The telepath whispered.
"You two, I might be able to be of assistance with the class lectures, even if I didn't place first." The creation hero offered. Only Hajime and Todoroki were close enough to hear what followed. "Though I'll be useless in the practical."
Hajime was more reluctant to tell people her score, not because she failed, but because she aced the test. Not a single question was wrong. Aizawa had used his quirk to stop her from cheating, but that didn't stunt the endless knowledge she had picked up through her childhood. Hajime lived up to her title as the all knowing hero, there was little information that was unheard by her telepathy.
"I'm not one of those two but can I join too?" Jiro asked. "I'm having some trouble with quadratic functions."
"Sorry, me too. How are you with Classical Japanese?" Sero pleaded.
"I'd like to join too there's a bunch of stuff I don't get."
"Please?"
"Everyone! Yes, of course!" Momo cheered, jumping out of her seat in delight.
"All right."
"Then, let us hold a study session at my residence this weekend!" She declared.
"Seriously? I can't wait to see your house!" Ashido joined her eccentric energy.
"Oh, in that case, I must tell mother and have her open up the hall! What kind of tea are you all partial to? In my family we always drink Harrod's or Wedgwood! So if you have any preference, let me know! Of course, you can trust me to help you study, too! I will definitely show you how I can help!"
'Though, I don't know how I can teach everyone at once. Maybe I can find out who placed first and ask them for help? No, that wouldn't work, what if it was Bakugo?'
With the pull factor of expensive tea on the table, along with Momo's plead for help, Kokoro took up the opportunity. "Um, Momo, maybe I can help you lead the study session? I didn't call myself the all knowing hero for nothing." She offered.
