After arriving at the police station, Kokoro and Bakugo were pushed aside into an interrogation room for 3 hours, being told that the police were currently busy helping with the the incident with All Might. Which, would have been understandable if the two teenagers weren't both tired and annoyed. They snapped at every opportunity they got, including when Hajime tried to shut her eyes and sleep.
'I can't believe this girl, she's sleeping at a time like this? What the am I supposed to do?'
"Maybe you could close your eyes too, I'm tired as fuck, and don't need your input." The telepath kept her eyes closed, but Bakugo hated being ignored.
"Stay the hell out of my head." He growled.
"I would, but it's so big. You can fit your whole ego in there." One eye opened, waiting to see his reaction.
"I'll kill you!" He shot back, a threat that didn't hold the same significance as it had yesterday.
"That's the third time I've heard that today, be more creative." Hajime finally sat up, stretching her hands above her head and cracking her back.
'Huh? Did she not fix her wrist?' The boy asked himself as he observed the blood soaked rag around her wrist.
"I didn't have time to go to the hospital, they'll be busy tonight anyways." She knew she needed to clean the wound and bandage it, but she still had to see the police and get interrogated. So ultimately, was it really worth going to the hospital for a few cuts and scrapes?
'They look like hell, didn't anyone alert the families?'
Just then, Hajime felt a presence behind a two sided mirror. They were being watched. "Someone's there." She informed Bakugo, who equally glared at the mirror. "You can come in, it's not like we've been waiting at all." She rolled her eyes.
The officer behind the glass seemed to comply, he wasn't fond of them being trapped in a confined space after the events, if he were there at the time, he'd have made a different approach. Hence, he opened the door to the interrogation room, idly strolling in and setting some papers and a recorder onto the table. The telepath recognised him as Detective Tsukauchi, the lead in the 'League Of Villains' case. However, she didn't know the second man, who trailed into the room behind him.
"Sorry for the wait, I'm sure you're aware of what happened in Yokohama." Tsukauchi apologised, but the teenagers remained silent. "Okay, so first, I would like to ask you about the people who kidnapped you? Why did they do it?" He asked after turning on a recording device.
"Excuse me?" The telepath scoffed, she couldn't believe what she was hearing.
'You do realise we have to answer his questions, it's illegal to withhold information, dumbass' Bakugo communicated.
"First of all, you're not allowed to interrogate us without adults, secondly, you haven't even made contact with any of our families. We're not being arrested, so don't treat us as such." Hajime questioned, her thoughts were racing and she was slightly paranoid.
"Miss, we're just looking to understand the case more. Any information you can give us would be immensely helpful, not only that, but it will allow us to protect others in the future. If he targeted you, what's to say he wont target others, maybe someone with a similar quirk. Hitoshi Shinsou?" The secondary officer manipulated her, he knew the people of importance in her life, which she soon realised why.
"Your quirk. It's known as detect. Quite fitting for a detective, but not to be used on kids." She switched the interrogation around. "Just by looking at me, you can see all the people I hold dear, right? Detective Kuboyasu?"
