Midoriya was finally allowed back in school, and he was more enthusiastic than ever. He'd gone from wallowing in self pity, to formally apologising in front of the class, emitting steam from his nostrils. However, Aizawa was still annoyed he had the audacity to start a fight, so he was as gloomy and threatening as ever.
"Time to take your seats everyone." The teacher appeared behind Midoriya, scaring him into his seat. "Morning, now that Midoriya is back, we'll go into more detail about what the work studies entail. Go ahead and come in." He turned to the door. "I'll have people who've experienced them first hand explain. I suggest you listen carefully as they point out how work studies differ from internships. These three are third years at U.A. they rank at the very top of our student body. You may know them as, the big three."
Stood in front of the class, were three students, gazing upon 1A with smiles on their faces, apart from one who looked absolutely terrified. Alternatively, the rest of 1A were admiring them, not caring that the people they were obsessed over were stood in front of them.
"If you keep talking about them like they're gods, it's gonna go to their heads." Hajime cut them short.
"But they're just so cool." Uraraka fangirled.
"Get to it, introduce yourselves briefly. Let's start with Amajiki." Aizawa concluded their chatter. Meanwhile Kokoro could sense a disaster a mile away.
Instantly, Amajiki sent them a glare that could split the entire world in two, it was so powerful, Kokoro was surprised it had nothing to do with his quirk, because she felt as though she should sink into her own chair. But when reading his mind, she realised exactly why.
'Why won't their bodies turn into potatoes?' He mentally panicked, trying to calm his anxiety.
"If you want, I could make us all look like potatoes?" Hajime suggested, which only confused him more.
"My minds blank, my mouth is dry." Amajiki shivered. "I can't say anything. I wanna, go home." He turned and faced the wall. It must have been too overwhelming to have a random girl offer advice via telepathy.
"Come on Amajiki, you need to have the heart of a lion, not a kitten. You know, even though you're human, you know what I mean?" A bright haired girl teased. "This is our kitten Tamaki Amajiki, and hi, my name is Nejire Hado. I'm supposed to talk about work studies, you first years have a really exciting time ahead of you. Hey wait, hold on, why are you wearing a mask?" She got distracted and walked towards Shoji. "Is it because you're feeling sick, or just trying to look cool?"
"Uh, well..."
"Oh wow, you must be Todoroki, am I right? Yeah! How'd you get that big burn on your face?"
That was ruder than Hajime expected such an esteemed hero to act. Even if it sounded unintentional, it was still out of order to ask such personal questions, let alone spread rumours to begin with. Which is something Hado was famous for, considering she always had all the gossip.
"And Ashido, if your horns fall off, do you think you'll grow new ones? And can you wiggle them?" She continued. "And Mineta, are those balls your hair or what? I don't get it, how do you get a haircut?" Another mistake made by the girl, something Hajime had to take the fall for because she was the only one who could hear the rodents disgusting thoughts.
"Oh Asui, you're a tree frog, not a gross toad, right? And Hajime, I heard you can read mind, that's crazy, what's the weirdest thing you've ever heard? Oh my goodness, there's so much I want to know about every single one of you, how about a Q and A?"
"Please stop this." Hajime communicated to her teacher, who actually agreed with her.
"This is completely irrational." The man made his eyes glow red.
