"Freeze! Hands up!" A police officer took the safety off his gun, aiming it directly towards Hajime's torso as more of his colleagues swarmed the room.
'Shit.' The girl cursed. Aizawa had warned her to run while she could, he was right when he said she was a wanted criminal for saving lives. 'What the hell should I do? I could mask myself, but then they'd piece together the puzzle, plus, they'll just shoot aimlessly. Not to mention the fact I'm injured. Shit!'
"I said hands up!"
"Do it or we'll shoot!"
"Are there any pro heroes that can be on our location?"
Kokoro's hands shook as she slowly lifted them up to her head. "Wait! First things first! Drop the swords!" Another officer ordered, to which she brought her hands back towards the blades. Hajime's mind was blank, the only thought running through her head was the word 'escape'. But she couldn't, not when she was fixated on the dozen guns aimed at her, safety off.
"Don't worry kid." An echoey voice shouted from the shadows, Hajime didn't even sense its owner. "Samurai is here to save you." Aya jumped out and knocked the gun out of one of the policeman's hands.
"What are you doing here?" Kokoro backed away, her grip returning on her own blades.
"No! Don't fight!" Aya demanded, still defending against the police, but her struggle was evident, she was too old to be manoeuvring like that. "I need you to run."
"What?"
"I'm Samurai, you're just some kid I managed to rope into all of this...." She said between deep breathes. "I'm the criminal here, not you. You still have a future. So you need to get back to it..... don't waste your life for a dream that isn't yours."
"But, I can do it! Trust me! I can!" Kokoro yelled, fighting the urge to aid the woman.
"I don't fucking care if you can...... just leave, and lay all the burden onto me. You don't deserve it. Please, just let me do this, I owe it." Aya continued to encourage, eventually throwing some rubble at the telepath to push her further away. "Leave dammit! And don't get caught! Take the suit, and burn it!"
"I-"
"Go!"
"I'm sorry!" Hajime replied then bolted before she could change her mind. Her legs carried her as she continued to run, tuning out the clashing of swords and the firing of guns. She couldn't go back, not after what Aya had said. So she didn't look back, despite the tears beginning to build up in her eyes.

After finally evacuating the scene, Kokoro's heart continued to race, she used Aya's techniques and stuck to the shadows, occasionally breaking free to jump onto another building. Until she reached the antique shop, her sanctuary, at least, for now. She could hear siren in the distance, her time was limited. Especially if they'd already uncovered Aya's identity, this would be their first target.
Hajime opened the roof door quietly, keeping on her gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints. Next, she ran down the stairs to the living area and located her backpack and clothes bundled up on the couch. Quickly, she changed outfits and scrunched up her vigilante costume before shoving it to the bottom of her bag. It was only then, when the blood began to seep through her dark hoodie, that she remembered how badly injured she was. The gash along her arm was an ugly shade of red, and she wasn't going to waste her time looking at the cut on her leg, it was likely in a similar state. She was just grateful she numbed it a while ago.
Once she was packed, removing all the evidence of her being there, she heard the bell on the shop door ring, the police acted quick, it was ironic really.
