What Comes After Four? (BFB+Omori)

This Part Is About Eight (and Four)

X's home (or was it Four's?) was now filled with water.

X looked down. Four was on the staircase. They started walking downward. X followed them.

Going further and further down...

Four looked at X and walked up a bit. X stopped, then walked a bit closer to them. Four continued walking down the stairs. X followed him until finally, they got to the bottom.

Four was standing in a light, behind a knife. X grabbed the knife.

The floor grew a face and smiled.

X MUST FACE THE FUCKING FLOOR

X calmed down and tried to attack it, but no damage.

And X did just that. A few moments of persisting later...

X remembered an event one year before BFB. He was drowning. Then...

Four saved him.

X opened his eyes. He saw...

Eight!

X got up. Seven was still laying on the ground.

"It looks like Seven's breathing is steady, but we need to get them someplace warm ASAP," said Eight.

"EIGHT! I'm so glad you're back. Let's get out of here."

"WAIT!" said Six. "Where do you all think you're going?"

"Six, don't you think you've caused enough trouble today?" said Two. "Come on, guys, we gotta go."

Eight, Two and X left the hangout spot.

"Sorry, Six," X said before leaving.

Two, X, and Eight went to Seven's house.

"SEVEN!" said Thirteen. "What happened? Are they okay?"

"His breathing is stable," said Eight. "They just need a warm bed."

"Okay, I can do that. Quick, come inside!"

"Can you help me bring Seven to their room?"

"Sure thing," said Eight. He followed Thirteen.

"Phew, that was intense," said Two. "I hope Seven wakes up soon."

Two and X went towards Seven's room.

Eight came out of the room.

"Hey, Two... Hey, X," they said. "I heard from Mom that Seven was missing, so I decided to look for him. Then, I heard commotion coming from the hangout spot. I... guess I got there in the nick of time, huh? Also, it looks like Seven's gonna be just fine! So what was happening back there?"

"Six... They pushed Seven into the lake."

"What? That was Six back there? No, she wouldn't do that to Seven. It must be a misunderstanding..."

"They're not the same anymore, Eight! She's become all messed up after you ended up on the island with alternative universe characters!"

"Six...
Maybe I should have never left..."

"Don't worry, Eight! It's not your fault! Things could've gotten a LOT worse if you didn't show up! You've done all you can! C'mon... Let's go home."

X, Two, and Eight went into Seven's room.

"There's no way out of this, is there?" said Seven.

"Poor Seven," said Two. "They've been through so much in the past few days."

"Seven, please get some rest," said Eight. "We'll catch up with you tomorrow."

The now three friends left Seven's house.

"You were very brave, jumping in the lake to save Seven like that!" said Two. "Even if Eight ended up saving the day, you deserve recognition too, X! High four?"

X slapped Two in the face instead.

"Ow," said Two. "Well, okay."

X, Two, and Eight headed to Two and Eight's house.
