Chapter 6: Weekend

General POV.

It was an early Friday night.

And Lilly was laying on bed listening to music, while working on homework.

She was humming and listening to ' House of the rising sun by the animals'

This week had been a weirdly pleasant one.

She had great friends back in Indianapolis, but Steve, Robin and his friends are fine and really nice to.

Robin had helped her greatly at school.

She had her old school grades sent to the school, and she could back out of a few projects.

Because they had already finished those at school.

She was actually excited to have English next week with Eddie again.

Robin and Steve had been warning her.

But Dustin and Mike had told her otherwise, he was in the D&D club and even was the dungeon master.

He was a bit older than them, because he had failed a few classes.

But it was the truth that he was a drug dealer and Lilly wasn't sure what to think about that.

The song she was listening to was ending and Aerosmith's dream on came on her Walkman.

Lilly clicked it on the Walkman to her ripped jeans and was rumbling around to find some things.

She walked over to the bathroom and did her makeup, she took her hair out and put in a high ponytail.

She fastly brushed her teeth and walked over to the door of her room, she took her skateboard and put her headphones down.

She walked down the stairs and over to the kitchen.

Her mom was sitting in the backyard by the pool.

She walked over a grabbed a can of coca cola.

'I'm going to skate for a bit' Lilly said while walking to her mom and sitting down on the stool next to her mom.

'Hi Honey, yes of course !

Is there any possibility you could bring Steve his lunch?

I saw it in the fridge I think he forgot it.' her mom said putting her sunglasses on her head.

'Yeah sure.' Lilly said as she walked back in the house. Getting her backpack and putting in Steve's lunch.

She took her sunglasses out of her denim jacket and put it on her head.

Lilly put on her denim jacket and walked out of the house.

It was a Saturday morning almost 11 am.

It was busy on the street moms with their kids.

Lilly put her headphones on and started skating down the road.

*Should I stay or should I go By the Clash* started playing

She was thinking and humming to the songs while going down the street.

When she saw Dustin and Mike and another boy cycling they were just ahead of her.

Lilly picked up the pace and put her headphones off when she got a hold of the back of Dustin's bike.

He let out a yell and looked backwards when he saw Lilly.

Mike turned around when he suddenly saw Lilly to.

'Lilly??! What are you doing here?' Dustin asked while they slowly stopped so Lilly didn't fall.

'Well I wanted to take my board for a spin around here, and Steve forgot his lunch so.. ' Lily said while raising her shoulders.

She then sticked her hand out to the other boy with the both of them.

'I'm Lilly, I'm kind off Steve's stepsister? I guess..' she said with a soft smile.

'Oh wow hi. I'm Lucas Sinclair' he said while shaking her hand.

'Where are you guys going?' Lilly asked them while picking up her skateboard.

'We're going to play D&D with the hellfire club.' Dustin replied.

'Oh so you're hanging out with Mr Munson.' Lilly said with a roll of her tongue on the son.

To which Dustin squinted his eyes.

'Yea, he kinda is our dungeon master.' Lucas answered.

'Well are you going towards the Family Video?' Lilly asked.

'I don't mind someone to hang onto while going that way.' She put her sunglasses on her head so they could look in her eyes.

'Were going to school, so yeah I guess a while.' Mike answered.

'Well thankyou Mike.' Lilly said as she ran a bit forward and jumped on her board.

The boys starting cycling towards her and she got a hand on the back of Mike's bike.

The three of them were making small talk, when they almost reached the school.

'Lilly were almost here.' Dustin yelled towards her.

'Lucas your probs the fastest get your act together and give me a proper lift off.' Lilly yelled as she switched bikes. To which Lucas started cycling faster and faster.

'Tell Mr. Munson I'll get him for almost driving me over.' Lilly said as she let go of the bike and gave herself an even harder kick so she would have lots of speed.

She waved to the boys and wished them good luck. Before going further towards the Family video.

Lilly finally entered the parking lot she stopped and kicked her foot on the back of the board so it would lift in the air. And she took it up.

Putting her sunglasses back on her head. She was adjusting her eyes to the sun before wanting to walk over to the Family Video.

When she almost ran into a car.

Or should I say, Van.

It was a black van with dark tinted windows.

The window turned down. And she had closed her eyes a small sigh leaving her lips.

She opened her eyes looking straight in Eddie's eyes.

She put off her headphones and a frown appeared on her face.

'Ur listening to Hotel California now?' she said an eyebrow raised at him.

'Need to brighten my horizon's ' He simply answered.

'Sure.' Lilly answered parting her lips slightly.

A small smirk appearing on both of their lips.

When suddenly the sound of a bell was heard.

'Lills!

Get your ass over here.' It was Steve's voice.

To which she rolled her eyes.

'Gotta go duty calls.

And you have enough to do so I have heard.' Lilly said putting her sunglasses back on her face.

'Oh can I cross now? Or are you going to almost hit me again?

Or just for real hit me this time?' Lilly said smirking while crossing the road walking towards Steve.

Who stood in the opening of the door.

'What did I tell you ?' Steve said while Lilly was passing him in the door.

The van drove away with squealing tires.

'Hey he almost hit me.' Lilly said raising her hands in defense.

But a small smile was to be seen on her face.
