Chapter 48: Demobats.

Eddie was biting on his fingernails.'For fucks sake Lilly.. and now Wheeler.' He sighed before taking a deep breath and regrouping himself.Robin sat on the side of the boat taking a deep breath but before she went down she waited a second on Eddie.He looked at Robin. And he just nodded before taking a deep breath and diving off the side of the boat.Robin followed fastly as they both went down to the red glow they were seeing.Eddie saw someone hovering over it and it wasn't a curly haired Wheeler.

It was Lilly and when she saw three figures going her way she touched the red blob and she went straight through. Making Eddie almost gasp for air but he then passed Robin by swimming faster towards the gate.He was determined to get to her. Lilly was what was important to him right now. And maybe he started to get a liking to Harrington too.

Steve got dragged by the tentacle over the floor he could gasp for air because there was oxygen.But that fastly went to shit when he got thrown against the vines and the tentacle let go. He tried to get a grip on his breathing as he was crawling to get on his feet. When he stood up he looked around he was standing in the middle of Lovers lake.But it was empty and full of vines.

he was looking at Reever Rick's house but it was overgrown with the vines. It was dark and red lightning and thunder lighted up behind the thick grey clouds.Steve was taking it all in. When he suddenly heard some kind of screech.He fastly turned around as he saw some kind of bat flying over the trees.It kept making the screeching noise.And before he knew it he heard it from at least four different locations. He was in the open and had literally nowhere to go.'For fucks sake.' He said under his breath.

He made a run for the small boat that was on the side and found an oar. Weaponing himself against the bats.And boy did he need it.He slammed one of the bats directly in its face with the oar turning around to smack another to oblivion.

He ducked for another but he would have wished he hit that one.Because it flew back around and with it's really long tail he grabbed Steve's neck.Steve got flung back by the force off the bat. He let go of the oar and fell to the ground. His arms gripping to the tail around his neck.The bat was trying to fly away making Steve gasp for air as it was suffocating him.The other bats took this as a sign to dig into him.

Steve desperately fought off the ones trying to get to him but there were at least 2 of them.When he kicked one off the other put his teeth into his side making him groan in his chokes.He could look up a bit when he saw not one but two of these weird ass looking bats dig into his sides.

It hurt like hell but he couldn't scream.  His head started to feel light from the lack of oxygen and his rapid heartrate.

When Lilly came through the portal she looked around she didn't see anything at first.Everything was looking weird and there were vines everywhere. she then heard the screeching as saw Steve fighting off the bats with an oar.Lilly ran towards him trying to miss the vines and when she saw Steve get tackled down she ran even faster. She ran past a boat and she saw another oar, she grabbed it running towards Steve.The moans and gasping for air was getting louder as she saw the bats digging in his sides.In a fast reflex she slammed the bat off him.

As it cried out loudly the other one got disturbed by the other one flying away. So she smacked that one too.'For fucks sake you ugly ass things.' She yelled to them.Nancy came after her with another oar. While Robin and Eddie just came through the gate and saw Lilly slamming the oar a few hundred meters away.Nancy was already half way towards them.'COME' she yelled to the both of them.
