Chapter 43: Save Eddie Munson.

Today was Chrissy's funeral. And Lilly couldn't be more right about her feeling.Jason and his basketbal friends were getting rather close to finding Eddie's location. Lilly stepped into Steve's car and was off towards Reefer Rick's house.

It was a bit of a drive from the Kreel house. Lilly was going over every possible way she could see this going. Until she told herself that it might be nothing and she could just spend the evening with Eddie which she really hoped. 

But boy was she wrong. When she drove up towards the house she saw a big black pick-up truck. And it was Jason's. Lilly cursed to herself                                                                                                                  Lilly was thinking of a game plan for how she was going to handle this. 

What was she gonna do.She knew that she could handle Jason alone. But she didn't know how many friends he had with him.Lilly tried to keep herself calm but she knew that if they catched him he would be done for. When she was up to the house she could hear people talk and it wasn't Eddie.'Fuck fuck fuck.' She said to herself. Lilly heard something and than really softly she heard a door close. 'Eddie.' She thought to herself.

Lilly was off to the boat house and got in. Where Eddie stood ready with an oar to smash her in the head.'Ho easy tiger.' She said soft and quick.'I fucking knew something was going on.' She was cursing in herself.Eddie was pacing around fastly not knowing what to do. 'There are three of them.' he said. 'Okay. get the boat out and try to get over the lake.' Lilly said.I'm going to distract them so you can get away.' Lilly pulled him towards her. 'And whatever i say or yell don't turn around i will get to you asap.Promise me.' she said looking in his eyes.

Eddie's eyes were looking everywhere but when she said that he needed to promise her and saw how desperate her eyes were he just nodded.                                                                                                    'Okay. Take the boat and get over to the other side of the lake i'll try to get you away from there as fast as I possibly can.' Lilly told Eddie.                                                                                                                He nodded to her and they got the boat in the water and he was off.

Lilly sneaked away from the boathouse and ran as hard as she could towards Steve's car. Her heart was pumping in her throat. If this went wrong they had Eddie and he would been turned over to the police. And he didn't even do anything.But try to explain to the cops everything about Vecna and the upside down. She then shook everything off her. And she stepped into Steve's car. Turned the radio on a loud volume and lit a cigarette. She was waiting to make the turn when she would see Jason out of the house.

And when she did she actually made the turn and she stopped. she had her window open and pushed her sunglasses on her head. 'What are you guys doing here?I thought it was Chrissy's funeral today?' She asked looking at Jason.His muscles tensed at the name.'Yeah that was like an hour ago. We're trying to find that freak of yours.And now that we see you.. 'he said pushing his hand on the roof of the car. 'You probably don't know where he is...' He said while heaving his head in front of hers. Lilly didn't even move.

'Well i fucking wish i knew where he was.That fucking asshole.' Lilly said. 'He was supposed to come to my house after the basketbal game.And we would like.. ' Lilly stopped talking for a second.'Not important but anyway..He never showed up and the day after i heard all the shit going down in the trailer park..I haven't seen or spoken to him since.. ' Lilly stopped her story to get a hit from her cigarette and ashing the ash out of the side of the car. 'So if you see him..' Lilly said turning the tables around. 'Please let me know i would like to get to him first before the police does.' Lilly said sweetly throwing the cigarette out of the car.

She looked Jason straight into his eyes. To which he let out a chuckle.'Damn didn't know freaks could hold grudges like that.' He said as he pushed himself of the car. 'Why am I the fucking freak.' Lilly said looking at him with her eyebrow raised.'Whatever forget it.' Lilly then said as she pushed her sunglasses down.'But please let me know if you find that piece of ass.. I would like to speak with him in pr-' Lilly got stopped just before she wantd to leave. When she heard one of Jason's friends scream.

'I GOT HIM.' she heard someone scream.To which Jason started running.Lilly jumped out of the car and after the three guys in suit. Eddie was already halfway the lake to her relief but he wasn't out of the water yet. 'WHERE ARE YOU GOING FREAK?' Jason screamed all over the lake. Jason started to pull of his jacket and threw it on the ground.When suddenly he was stunned he didn't believe anything from what Lilly had just muttered towards him.

Of course she would cover for him.Or maybe she wouldn't he couldn't read her at all.But his thoughts actually changed when he heard her scream.

'EDWARD FUCKING MUNSON. HOW CAN YOU FUCKING DO THIS TO ME.TO HER..SHE WAS MY FUCKING FRIEND.' Lilly started to yell. Her voice was almost like fingernails on a chalkboard.   she walked over to the small wooden dock where they actually exchanged their first kiss.      'YOU FUCKING TOOK ME HERE FOR A DATE. KISSED ME RIGHT HERE.IS EVERYTHING YOU TOLD ME EVEN TRUE. YOU FUCKING KILLED HER OVER A BIT OF DRUGS?                                                      HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME.SUDDENLY DISSAPEAR' Lilly went silent for a second.           Tears were streaming down her face.

She didn't mean these things and she was hoping she didn't hurt him as much as she could with these words.'YOU...Y..YOUYOU ARE DEAD TO ME MUNSON.' She yelled as the last part before walking back from the small dock and towards her car. Where one of the basketball friends of Jason walked towards her and took her in a hug. She didn't know what to do.

The other two guys jumped into the water but the other stayed behind. She didn't trust this guy, he was always whistling to her at school even when she threw her plate with food all over Jason, he was eyeing her up and down. 'I'm sorry..' He just said 'It's okay.' Lilly mumbled as she pushed him away from her and stepped towards her car. When they suddenly heard screaming and yelling.

They both ran back towards the water where they saw the one friend Jason was with starting to come out of the water. 'Fuck.' Lilly breathed in.'what the fuck is happening.' the other guy shouted. And jason was trying to get his friend out of this weird trance.

It was the exact same thing as what Eddie explained happened to Chrissy and the same thing what Lilly had seen happening to Max. She saw Eddie fell into the water and he was looking at what was happening in front of him. the guy who she learned was named Patrick.Because his name was shouted so many times she could never forget it.his bones started to snap like it were plastic straws in a milkshake.And Lilly started to scream she ran away towards her car and she was out of there. Leaving the guys behind and she drove away like crazy.She felt sorry for Patrick but this was the only way that her and Eddie had a chance to escape from both Jason and his friends. or well friend.
