Chapter 33: Delivery service.

The next morning Lilly's alarm went off. She hadn't slept the only thing she could think about were Eddie and hoping no one had found out where he was. Lilly opened the door to the bathroom as she saw Steve brushing his teeth. Looking at him she stood in the doorway.

Steve looked up, he too had bags under his eyes. 'Couldnt sleep?' Steve asked her with his mouth full of toothpaste. Lilly nodded and walked over to the sink washing her face.

Steve kept brushing his teeth and when he was done he looked at Lilly who was just looking at herself in the sink.'Hey you okay?' Steve asked.

to which Lilly turned her head and looked at him. Tears forming in her eyes. 'I couldn't even sleep, what if they found him, what the fuck was that whole thing Dustin talked about.. I can't fucking think straight.' Lilly said as her voice croaked and she bursted into tears.

'Hey come on Lills.' Steve said as he grabbed her shoulder and pulled her in a hug. Laying his chin on her head. 'I know it's all really weird, but it's going to be all right. We did this like 3 times already and maybe it's nothing to bad this time.' Steve said trying to cheer her up.

'Lills, take a shower, let's go to the store when you're ready and get some breakfast and go over there.' Steve said as he looked in her eyes. To which Lilly nodded to him. Steve left the bathroom and Lilly locked the door stripping herself down from the same clothes as she wore yesterday. She hadn't bothered changing. Lilly was so shocked by everything that came down on her. When she stepped on the shower the warm water hit her collarbones and she felt more relaxed then ever. For just fifteen minutes of Lilly washing herself and her hair.She put on clean clothes and brushed her hair. Lilly put on her eyeliner and went downstairs.

Her mother sat downstairs and came to her. Steve sat on a chair in the kitchen too. He looked at her with a facial expression that this could take a while. And after half an hour of her mother preaching to the both of them. That Steve could not leave Lilly alone because she allegedly was the same age as the person killed yesterday.

They both went outside and stepped in Steve's car. 'Dustin called he wants to come with.' Steve said. 'I bet Robin would like to come too.' Lilly added. 'Then we better pick up Max too.' Steve responded as he started the car. Lilly nodded as she put the queen cassette in the radio. * I want to break free by Queen* started playing.They picked up Robin first, and then Dustin, then they did grocery shopping which Lilly really liked. She could get some snacks for Eddie and some drinks. After they went grocery shopping they picked up Max from the trailer park. Everything was set off and police officers were everywhere.

They drove out of Hawkins and towards the woods were the house of Reefer Rick lays. Making sure there was no car seeing them when they went off road into the woods. They parked and walked towards the house. It looked peacefully and there was no movement to be seen. Lilly took the key and opened the door. Everything was still looking the same Eddie hadn't moved downstairs at least. They unpacked a few things and then went upstairs.

As they turned to corner upstairs.Eddie was standing there with his broken bottle. 'Jesus.' he cursed when he saw all of them.'Delivery service.' Dustin said as he had Eddie's breakfast in a bag. Robin smiled at him and Steve waved. 'Let's sit downstairs let him get a little bit of fresh air.' Lilly said as she pushed everyone towards the stairs. She then climbed upstairs to see how he did last night. Eddie who felt his stomach was howling still climbed after her. 'Damn and I thought teen boys would be messy.' Lilly said with a smirk.

he rolled his eyes and pulled her back off the stairs into his arms. Eddie put her down on the ground and buried his face in her hair. 'God you smell amazing.' Eddie said. 'The water pressure works.' Lilly said. 'I can probably see if i can sneak you some tonight or tomorrow?' Lilly suggested. he smiled at her and kissed her forehead.

'You know i love to spend time with you but, I'm so hungry.' Eddie said as he patted his stomach. she pulled him downstairs and Eddie checked every window before he sat down on the couch and gratefully took the box of cereal and the chocolate milk Dustin gave him.

'So uh... ' Dustin started.'We got good news and bad news.How do you prefer it?' 'Bad news first, always.' Eddie said as he was digging in the cereal. 'All right bad news.' Dustin said.'We tapped into the Hawkins PD dispatch with our Cerebro, and they're definitely looking for you.Also they're uh pretty convinced you killed Chrissy.' Dustin said. 'Like a hundred precent kind of convinced.' Max said looking at Eddie.'And the good news?' Eddie asked looking at Dustin.but instead Robin spoke.'Your name hasn't gone public yet.' she said.'But if we found out about you, it's a matter of time before others do too,and once that gets out, everyone and their shallow-minded mother is gonna be gunning for you.' she explained.

'Hunt the freak, right?' Eddie said as he stopped eating and was looking plainly in front of him.'exactly.' Robin answered.'Shit.' Eddie said. 'Soooo.. before that happends, we need to find Vecna, kill him and prove your innocence.' Dustin said.'That's all, Dustin? that's all?' Eddie said sharply to Dustin.

Lilly was biting on her lip looking at them all. 'Yeah.' Dustin said with a high pitched voice.'no, thats pretty.. pretty much it.' 'Listen, Eddie, I know everything that Dustin is saying sounds totally delusional, but we've actually been through this before.' Robin said trying to encourage Eddie. Lilly had crossed her arms. She didn't know what she was all hearing, kill someone?'I mean, they have a... a few times, and.. and i have once.' Robin added.

Eddie was changing his look to Steve who nodded. 'Mine was more human-flesh-based, theirs was more smoke-related, but bottom line is, collectively, i really feel we got this.' Robin said almost confident.Eddie was looking at her as if he had seen a ghost.

Lilly was looking at Steve.'More then once?' She whispered to him.'Three times exactly.' Steve answered softly back.'Yeah well see we usually rely on this girl who has super powers.' Steve suddenly cut in.'Superpowers?' Lilly said even more confused.'But uh, those went bye-bye, so... ' Steve continued.'So we're technically in more of the-- ' Robin said looking for words.'Kinda...' Steve tried to.'Brainstorming phase.' Max ended their line.'Brainstorming.' Steve snapped his fingers. 'That was the word i was looking for.'

'There... There's nothing to worry about.' Dustin then spluttered.Steve scoffed and nodded to Eddie together with Dustin. Eddie was not looking convinced at all. When suddenly their were all kinds of sirens to be heard.

'Upstairs.' Lilly said. 'Go fucking to the attic now. and don't you fucking move.' Lilly said looking at Eddie she looked in his eyes and he nodded. and ran upstairs. Everyone was looking carefully outside. But there was nothing, no cars the sirens were fading.

'Good they weren't here for Eddie.' Lilly let out a sigh. 'But that must mean something else is going on.' Max said looking at all of them.'Bring his snacks upstairs Lilly were going.' Steve said. to which Lilly nodded and jumped back upstairs she climbed onto the attic and put a bag with drinks and snacks in front of him. 'God i wish i had my guitar here or you..' Eddie exclaimed.

He was scared but he was bored out of his mind. 'I only have this stupid puzzlebook i found downstairs.' Lilly said as she sat on the most upper stair. 'I'll try to come back with something to shower with okay?' Lily said as she crawled over and kissed him. 'It's gonna be okay, okay?' Lilly said as she rested her hand on his cheek. 'Thanks Lilith.' Eddie said kissing her hand before she heard Steve stomp on the stairs.'My cue to go.' Lilly said as she put the stairs up to the attic and went downstairs. Everyone cleaned the mess so it didn't even look like someone had been here and they all left. Towards the noise of the sirens.
