Female Reader x Male Monster
You work for a delivery business, one where you're given tasks through an app to pick up things for a client. That can either be food, groceries, whatever. Your main business usually deals with an office building near where you live. You deliver lunches a lot, sometimes you pick up supplies to take, or you run documents for them, but mostly it's just lunches or late dinners. Tonight you're delivering a late dinner. It's past eight already and the alert came in just before you were supposed to be off the clock. It's ok, you think to yourself, the place usually gives good tips especially when it's late like this.
You make your way up, going to one of the higher floors to deliver the sack of good smelling food. Your stomach growls, all you had for supper was a bowl of ramen with an egg in it. From the amount of food, you expect to walk into a meeting hall full of people. Instead, you walk into an office with a solitary orc inside. He's wearing a very nice suit, but the jacket is thrown over a chair and the sleeves are rolled up and the first few buttons were undone while his tie hangs around his shoulders. It's a good look that suits him, especially with his glasses on.
You knock on the door frame and he looks up, his glasses sliding down his nose a little. "Oh, come in, come in," he stands up and rummages through his pockets looking for tip.
You set the bag of food down on his desk, you recognize him. He's usually in the meetings you deliver to. You've never gone directly to his office before. "Thank you for your business," you say with a smile.
"Wait just one second," he grumbles as he continues to try and search for his wallet. "Feel free to help yourself." He waves to the bag.
"Help myself?" You ask.
"Yeah, yeah, eat something."
You stare at the bag, eager to take him up on his offer but you just can't bring yourself to do it. After a few more moments of his searching, he finally finds his wallet and he hands you a one hundred dollar bill. You gape in fear and awe.
"Oh," you shake your head. "Sir, I can't take this!"
"Yeah you can," he offers it again. "It's a tip."
"But your food only cost half that!" You gasp.
He smirks and you can't help but melt a little at it. "Take it. Please. I know it's late and I probably ruined your evening. It'll make me feel better."
You shakily take the tip, wondering if it's real or if when you unfold it there will be a Bible verse inside. "Thank you," you gasp.
"I sure hope I didn't ruin your evening," he says as he sits back down.
You shake your head. "I wouldn't even call it an evening."
"No date?" He asks.
You blush a little and shake your head. "Nope. Hasn't been one in...never mind. It's too embarrassing to say," you laugh.
"A woman like you is alone on a Friday night?" He scoffs. "Men are fucking idiots," he grumbles as he returns to his work.
You swallow back the lump in your throat as you tuck the one hundred dollar bill into your bra. "Well uhm...thank you again sir. I really appreciate the tip and the business."
He looks up at you and winks. "My pleasure."
You swoon a little bit as you leave, noting his name on the door is Solan.
The next evening you receive another late delivery to the same place again. You feel a bit excited, hoping to catch Solan again as well as another massive tip. With the hundred he gave you, you were able to afford to stock up on groceries. You go back up the elevator and to his office, his door is open again. He smiles when he sees you.
