female reader x female monster
You're looking at the ring on your finger, turning around the gold band as it catches the light from the window. Whenever you're feeling stressed or downbeat, you look at the ring and remember the woman who put it on your finger.
You had met her while touring a vineyard her family owned. You had gotten separated from your group and came across her while trying to find your way back. She was so beautiful, you could barely take your eyes off her. She had a long black body with golden stripes. The gold went along her torso and face, where it met with black again that covered her eyes. Her eyes were dark and wide, and she held a mischievous smile on her lips.
You were smitten almost right away. It didn't take long for you to fall in love with her. Khepri made her intentions for you known right away, she wanted you. One your first date, after she had kissed you at the front door, she whispered: "you'll be mine soon."
She wasn't wrong. You moved in together within the year and not long after that, she proposed. You had just celebrated your fifth anniversary, and it was amazing. Now, you were sitting in a hospital room waiting for the doctor to come back.
You were sitting in that silly backless robe, your bare ass on the paper covered the examination table. You just stare at the ring Khepri gave you, picturing her and the reason you are here.
The doctor comes back in, and you look up at her, expectant and excited about the news she has. Her expression is vague, and you know right away she's trying to hide something. She sits down and puts her hand over yours.
"I'm sorry," she says.
Your guts go cold, and you smile. "I had a feeling," you murmur, ducking your head down. "I wanted it to be a surprise for her birthday so-" you tuck your hair behind your ear. "I guess we'll just try again on her birthday," you sniffle.
"I ran some tests on why you've been having this problem," she replies. "You have polycystic ovarian syndrome," she tells you.
You look up at her, furrowing your brow. "Is that...bad?" You ask.
She sighs. "Yes and no," she looks at you with kind eyes. She goes over the details with you, telling you how this is affecting your chances of getting pregnant.
"It's not impossible," she tells you. "But it will be harder for you. Talk with your partner, and we can set up an appointment to talk about steps we can take." She hands a small pamphlet. "Don't give up hope, ok? This is merely red tape, not a dead end."
"Thank you," you murmur. You get dressed and left, heading back home.
For the last year, you and Khepri have been trying for a baby. You had been hoping to be pregnant around your anniversary to announce it, but it didn't happen then. You had then planned to be pregnant around Khepri's birthday. Once again it was no, and no you had the reason why.
You sit down at the table, looking at the ring Khepri put on your finger. Inside the gold band, there was an engraving that said: "I am yours." You clutch your palm over your heart, wanting more than anything to have better news to give Khepri when she returned home.
That evening, Khepri came home, carrying with her a large crate. "I have a treat for you," she sings as she comes into the kitchen where you're cooking.
She comes up behind you at the stove, her lips open on the nape of your nape. Her hand flutters up your side, and she finds an opening to sneak her fingers in. She gently nibbles your neck, moaning softly as her fingers explore your soft belly and up to your breast.
"Khepri, no" you moan, but you don't fight it. You lean into her, letting her touch and kiss. She still acts like you're newlyweds, even after all this time.
