Female Reader x Male Monster
As you walk into work you check over your schedule for the day. You're excited when you see that a big chunk of your day is going to be devoted to one of your favorite clients. Lon was one of your first customers when you started working at the tattoo parlor. Ever since then he's requested you each and every time he wanted more work. He's was very nice and you had a good connection with him. You had great conversations with him and sometimes you could tell they bordered on flirting.
You liked Lon as a canvas. He was a big guy with a broad, strong back, thick arms, trunk-like thighs, not to mention a chest you could motorboat. Not that you would! You would never do that to a client. But there was just something special about Lon.
You beam when he walks in and greet him with a hug. "Long time no see," you say. "So what are we working on today?"
He sets down his bags and starts taking off his shirt. "Well, I was thinking we could continue that idea you had," he says.
"Oh! The blackbirds?" You grin. "You're in luck, I already sketched that out."
"That's why you're the best." He follows you to the table and sits down while you take out your sketchbook. He approves after barely a glance and you get to work. You transfer the image and get to work.
"How have you been?" You ask.
"Busy, he grunts. My brother Cynric just got married," he huffs.
"Oh, the business one?" You ask.
"Yeah," he huffs. "It was a nice wedding and the girl he married is great." He grumbles something under his breath.
"Let me guess, everyone is asking why a looker like you is still painfully single?"
He laughs. "How'd you know?"
"Cut to me three weeks ago at my sister's wedding," you scoff. "I was the only bridesmaid who wasn't married and all my cousins have engagement rings or babies." You roll your eyes and wipe up his back. "It's frustrating."
"Is that something you want?" Lon asks.
You shrug. "I dunno. I never was with anyone who made me think marriage was a step to take. You know?"
"True," he chuckles.
"I was never the kid to pretend it either. I was usually drawing on the walls or pretending I could somehow get to Neverland and be a lost boy."
"A lost boy?" He chuckles. "Why that?"
"Because I liked pirates."
Lon chuckles and snorts. "That's why I like visiting you, you always know how to cheer me up."
Once you're finished and show him the work he's grinning from ear to ear. "Can I go ahead and schedule for next week?"
"You've got it," you reply. "Any ideas?"
"I like the storyline you got here," he then smirks at you. "Maybe we can add a pirate."
You grin up at him. "I'll sketch some things for you."
He pays a leaves a very hefty tip. You've never asked him what he does for a living but he always gives you a tip that leaves your coworkers drooling. You sketch several things for him throughout the week, excited to see what he thinks. But when his appointment comes, he doesn't show up. This worries you quite a bit considering he's never late and he usually calls to double check.
An hour after his appointment is supposed to start he comes through the door. You notice right away he doesn't look well. He's bleeding and his shirt is ripped.
