Female Reader x Female Monster x Male Monster
Sitting at the bar, you watch people come and go from the mirror behind the shelves. You see lovers kiss and friends greet one another, but your mind starts to wander as the person you're waiting for still fails to arrive. You glance at your phone and check the mirror. It's become obvious that your date is never going to show.
Oh well, it figures it would be too good to be true. You finish your drink, then slide off the barstool once you've paid. You dart off into the bathroom, clutching the first sink you come to. Looking in the mirror you scowl. You've gone out of your way for this date, paid for an expensive foundation to try and cover your rosacea, blown some savings at Sephora, and even followed a Youtube tutorial to get the eyeliner just right.
"Don't cry," you command yourself. "It's not worth it!" You rip some paper towels from the dispenser and clutch them just in case. "It's stupid."
One of the bathroom stalls opens, and you freeze in embarrassment. The woman who struts out comes to the sink and washes her hands. You notice her skin is striped red and yellow, and her fingertips are stark black. "Do you mind?" She points a wet hand at the paper towel dispenser.
You hand her the paper towels in your hands, gazing at her face for a moment. Her lips are black, and so are her eyes. Her hair is curly, shaved on one side. The woman reaches out, taking the towels from your hand.
"Thanks, dear." She smiles, showing off the sharp fangs behind her lips. "Now, what's got you so upset?"
"Oh, you heard that? Sorry." You look down at your feet.
"No, no, don't apologize," she coos. She tilts her head to the side. "Need some cheering up?"
You look back at her, seeing the slight glint in her eyes and how her tongue moves to the corner of her mouth. "I just got stood up. It's stupid."
"Nonsense, it's upsetting. Judging from how nicely you've put yourself together, I'm guessing you were looking forward to the evening." She lays a hand on her chest. "My name is Sylvie. Why don't you come have a few drinks with me? Save your evening and have a good time."
You shake your head. "I couldn't intrude. You don't need to worry about me. I figured I'd just go home."
"It's just me and an old friend. We've both had a rough day, so you'd have understanding ears." Sylvie steps towards the door. "It's your choice of course, I would just feel bad if I didn't extend the invite."
She leaves the bathroom, and for a moment you struggle with what to do. You could go home, watch movies, and feel sorry for yourself. Or you could follow the pretty succubus, have another drink, maybe something to eat, and see where the evening went. After all, succubi are good for relieving sexual tension, and you have enough to stun a cow.
You step out of the bathroom, peering around until you see Sylvie sitting at a booth. She's leaned back and relaxed, a soft smile on her lips. She's wearing a cropped button-up with a floral print on it and high-waisted skinny jeans. She looks casual yet fashionable. She's the sort who could look easily glamorous at all times.
You slowly approach her table. Sylvie peeks up at you and her smile grows. "Come and sit with us." She pats the seat. "Sam and I were just talking about what we wanted to order."
You sit down beside her, glancing across at the man on the other side of the booth. At first, you don't exactly see his face - it looks blurred and shadowy. But after a moment of looking at him, he starts to look like the lizardman from your favorite detective show. He has bright green scales and dark brown eyes, and his smile stretches wide to reveal sharp teeth and a long red tongue.
