Female Reader x Male Monster
For the last few weeks, you've been helping your mom by taking over her route. Your parents had to travel out of town to help take care of your aunt. You could never say no to your mom, so you agreed to take her house cleaning route.
You can't help but feel intimidated though. Your mom's list of clients includes lots of big shots and rich folk. Almost all of them have extremely specific instructions for how to go about cleaning. Things to do, things to not do, and then some.
The house you're working at today seems pretty easy compared to the others. It belongs to Faust Morelli, one of the most affluent business owners in the area. He was an orc who came from nothing and now he was something of a local legend. Your mom talked about him often, saying he was probably one of her favorite people to work for. He paid great, tipped well, and gave bonuses every year. Your mom had asked you to specifically look out for Faust because he was her most important client.
His house was way out of town and perched on top of a hill. His driveway alone took you ten minutes to get up. Once you were there, you were able to marvel at the beautiful white stone building. It was three stories, and part of the roof is made from solar panels. Around the back, you could see the massive pool.
"Oh wow," you whisper as go up to the door. You get ready to ring the doorbell when the door swings open, and you're face to face with a broad body. You tilt your head, looking up to look into the face of Faust Morelli.
"Who are you?" He growls with a gruff voice.
You swallow back the tight lump in your throat. Faust is much bigger than your mother let on. He's broad-shouldered with thick arms. He's wearing a button up shirt that's unbuttoned at the moment. His skin is dark green, and he has dark hair that's pulled back into a tight bun.
"I uh...Lola, you finally gasp out. "Lola is my mom," you blurt and try to put your scrambled and nervous thoughts together. "I'm her daughter, and I am uh-" you huff. "I am taking over for Lola today. She's out of town for the time being."
He looks you over, eyes darting down as he adjusts the cuffs on his shirt. "How long is she going to be gone?" He steps aside, leading you into the house.
"Not sure," you answer, setting down the equipment you've brought with you. "Her and my dad have gone to take care of my aunt. She's isn't doing well."
Faust gives you a sort of half nod, and he starts buttoning his shirt. "I've got a meeting in thirty," he tells you. "So don't go anywhere near my office. I suggest sticking to the kitchens and bathrooms. Your mom always went clockwise."
You nod. "I know. She taught me to do the same thing." You then swirl your finger in the air. "Which way to the kitchen then?"
Faust jabs his thumb down the hall. "Down that way. I went ahead and put all the dirty clothes in the laundry room. It's offset from the kitchen." He turns, walking away from you and heading towards the stairs.
You watch him for a moment, noticing he has a rather shapely rear for someone with his build. You shake the thought from your head and go into the kitchen. You've gotten used to the lavish and overly done kitchens in some of the other houses. This one, despite the expensive equipment, is somewhat normal. The cabinets are white, and the appliances are all stainless steel. The countertops are butcher's block, which gives it a more rustic feel than modern. You set your cleaning supplies down and head to the laundry room.
No use in hiding it, you're short, so getting to the high places to dust and clean usually entails you standing on the counter or finding a ladder. You typically have a step-ladder, but you accidentally left it at home.
