Female reader x Male Monster
Moving into your new place had been hectic, between finding people who could help and scrambling up every ounce of pocket change to rent a truck, you were eager to get it all behind you. Luckily, Tano's family came in for the save. It was easy to get things moved with all those big, strapping orcs to help out.
You had known Tano for years, way back during your first year in college. You were shy and timid, away from home for the first time in your life. You went to the game night in the downstairs commons of the dorm building. It was there that you first met Tano and the two of you became friends.
He was this big, friendly teddy bear of a person. His deep green skin was flecked with golden streaks here and there. He had been chubby when you first met, but he was so friendly and inviting that everyone liked him. As college went on his baby fat turned into straight up muscle. He had joined the wrestling team and started lifting weights. He still had that pudgy belly, but everywhere else was hard earned muscle.
Still, Tano was the nicest person anyone had met. No one had anything bad to say about him. You felt lucky that he was your best friend, he really could have anybody. The two of you had been through it all, bad dates, break ups, all sorts of grief and heartache. You two were always there for one another.
Now, you two were moving into a house together. Tano had gotten a great job at a gym and you had just gotten out of the local department store and gotten a job at the downtown comic shop. Everything was working out so well.
Once moving was done and everyone had gone home for the evening, you and Tano crashed in the living room. You'd yet to set up your beds so the mattresses were just laying in the center of what would be the living room. You'd ordered a feast of pizza and other take out, if only to stock the fridge for the next few days.
Tano stretched out on his mattress and sighed. "This is the life. No more apartment building. No strange neighbors walking around the halls at night."
"Yeah, now all we have to deal with is the creepy clowns that roam the suburbs," you tease.
"Not funny!" Tano sits up and points at you. "Not funny at all!"
You smirk at him and top off your drink. "We still have neighbors to deal with. You know? We have one on each side."
"Yes but they aren't in our hallway. They aren't pressing their ears to the wall to listen in on us." Tano flops back down. "There are fences between us! There is space! There are extra walls."
Part of the reason for your move was that your old neighbor used to spy through the walls. She would listen in, and since her bedroom was next to Tano's she used to listen in on him having sex a lot. It came to the point that she was sexually harassing him in the hallways. Tano had stopped dating because he didn't even want to give her any ideas. Even now, Tano had been dateless going on about four months. It was odd for him, considering he always had someone chasing after him.
"You can bring over any boy or girl you want now. You don't have to keep hiding your girl dates to make her think you wanna bang her," you snort. "Hell, let's hang out our bisexual banner outside to advetise."
Tano groans. "Please don't. I'm not trying to advertise." He rolls onto his belly and looks at you. "It's just nice knowing the only spy I have to worry about is you."
You scoff and roll your eyes. "I have no interest for what you have going on in the bedroom." You take a long drink then yawn.
"Tired?" Tano asks.
You lay down on your mattress. "Exhausted," you grumble.
"Then let's hit the bed early," Tano tosses a pillow at you. "We've got an even longer day ahead of us tomorrow."
