Kauwi ni Asteria katapos ng fansign niya ay pagod na pagod na siya. She had to drag herself to go to the bathroom to freshen up and to change clothes.
After settling herself in her bed she looked at her phone to see if Caelum contacted her, but he did not. She looked at the clock and it's already 11:00, an hour before her birthday.
"He's busy, Asteria." She sighed and closed her eyes. Before she could enter the dreamland her phone rang.
"Hello." Her voice is in a state of confusion.
"Hi Love. Nagising ba kita?" Para namang nabuhusan ng malamig na tubig si Asteria at naging klaro ang isipan niya.
"Caelum." Mangiyak ngiyak na sabi niya. "I thought nakalimutan mo na ako wahhhhh." Umiyak na nga ng tuluyan si Asteria.
"Love." He whispered. "Stop crying please. I'm at the parking lot, can you go down here? Bring a coat or jacket. Stop crying na." He said weakly, hindi niya naisip na iiyak si Asteria. Mukha mali ang naging plano niya.
"Okay, don't hang up." She sobbed but followed Caelum's instructions. She wore a coat and tied her hair. Hindi na siya nagpalit ng damit at dali-daling bumaba.
Kalabas niya ng elavator ay dumiretso siya sa bisig ni Caelum.
"I hate you, I thought you forgot about my birthday." She nuzzled her head in Caelum's neck. Caelum kissed her hair and rubbed her head.
"I will never forget your birthday, my love. Let's go, shall we?" He carried Asteria towards the passenger seat and buckled her up.
"San tayo punta?" Asteria excitedly asked when the car got out of the parking lot.
"It's a surprise." Caelum glanced at her and he saw that Asteria is grinning and he can't help the smile forming on his lips.
They drive while singing along to some songs. Caelum drove to a cliff where you can see all of the city lights. Karating nila ay lumabas agad si Asteria.
"Wow. It's so pretty here, Caelum. Hindi ko alam na may gantong place pala dito." She pointed at the lights and grinned at him.
"Andito ako lagi whenever I want to take a rest and to unwind. I told myself that I'll bring the woman I love here." Hinagkan niya patalikod si Asteria at nilagay ang baba nito sa balikat ng babae.
"I love you."
"I love you too. Happy birthday, my love." Nagsimulang magputukan ang mga fireworks.
"OMG. Is this for me?" Tumango si Caelum.
