Before Lydia could think she was pulling the IV out of her arm and trying to escape the hospital room.
Tears were flooded in her eyes, making it impossible to see, that didn't stop her.
She didn't wanna spend two more seconds alone in a hospital room with Stiles.
She almost didn't eve noticed her whole ass was hanging out of the hospital gown, but again, that didn't stop her.
She pounded on the elevator button, glancing to her right, then to her left to see Stiles hustling down from the end of the hall.
The elevator door opened, Lydia waved then she was gone.
Stiles slid into the elevator before the doors closed. Lydia just stared down at him.
"What are you doing!" Stiles hollered then stood up.
"It wasn't a dream was it." Lydia whipped a stray tear. Trying to make it less-obvious that she was a wreck.
"You're joking?" He reassured.
She cocked her head and raised an eyebrow.
"No it wasn't a dream, She needed me to take her somewhere."
"Why am I having a hard time believing that." She sniffled.
"I don't know Lydia." He rubbed the back of his neck and sighed.
Lydia felt a pulsating pain shooting down her arm. She took her attention off Stiles and looked down at it. A pool of blood was forming.
Stiles noticed and his eyes widened. "We have to get you back into your room! Look at your arm why did you do that!" He gestured to her arm.
"To get away from you!" She pushed him into the elevator wall.
Then the door opened and Lydia scurried out.
She reached the end of the hospital to the automatic doors she looked back and Stiles was standing back to her and had his hands on top of his head.
Lydia ended up running straight into someone.
"Oh my God I'm sorry." The harsh voice boomed in her ears.
Lydia meet her gaze with the man and he held out his hand for her to take. Which she gladly did.
"Hi" She stood.
"What happened to you.." He looked her up and down.
"Long story." Lydia looked down.
He smiled and then looked down at her arm. "Uh." He pointed. "Does that hurt?"
"Kinda." She bit her lip. "Yeah, kinda, a lot." She hastily laughed.
"Maybe we should get you back inside.." He put his hand on the small of her back.
She glanced through the doors, no Stiles insight.
"Okay." She whispered and he led her inside.
-
Lydia woke the same way she had just hours before. Big white room, ugly old lady clothes on QVC, leather chair. Door with window.
She sighed, hoping it was all a dream. She still had her eyes closed and she glided her hand up her other arm and felt the rough cloth.
Nope. Not a dream.
Her shoulders tensed when she heard Stiles outside the door talking to someone.
She rolled her closed eyes and called for him.
Point two seconds later he busted through the door.
"Hey." He acted nonchalant.
"Who are you talking to?" Lydia opened her eyes.
"The guy you met outside."
She swallowed. "Are they done running tests?"
"No, they need you to do a- um."
"I get it."
"I'll get a nurse.." He walked out.
-
Hours later Stiles was walking about ten feet ahead of Lydia up to the apartment door.
Lydia was getting an uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach.
She was feeling slightly dizzy, the nurses explained to her that she lost great amounts of blood, this was normal, that she just needed to stay in bed and stay hydrated. Blah blah. Lydia didn't care for the bullshit, all she wanted was Stiles to stay away from her.
Then it hit her. Yes. She puked. Everywhere.
Stiles noticed and rushed over to her and rested his hand on her back and held her hair back.
She didn't throw up much, just water. She hasn't eaten very much.
Lydia plopped down on the pavement and rested her hand on Stiles' knee and rubbed the other one over her pale face.
"I'm sorry." She apologized.
"Why are you apologizing?"
She sighed. "Not sure. Felt necessary."
"I should be the one apologizing, I should of let you know what I was doing the other night."
"What were you doing?" She looked up into his honey, doe eyes.
Stiles swallowed. "Helping Malia, I told you."
"With what?"
"Peter.." He said spaced.
Lydia shook her head. "Alright, then."
"Any further explanation?"
"No, I hate Peter, so I'm good." Lydia joked.
Stiles stood and helped Lydia up.
"Still mad at me?"
Lydia smiled. "Hush."
