Aaand that’s the end of Book 1.
So, na-explain ko na (yata) ‘to sa isang note sa A Sky Full of Stars (Getaway). Ang original plan ko ay gawing series ang story nina XZ, Rai, Mel, at Liv. Ang original titles sana ng stories nila ay:
- Flyaway (XZ)
- Runaway (Rai)
- Breakaway (Mel)
- Getaway (Liv)
Pero nagbago ang isip ko kaya gagawin ko dapat ay ipu-publish na lang sila isa-isa under new titles (LS, RTS, SOAS, ASFS). Pinublish ko ang supposedly ‘Runaway’ under a new title which is Rewrite the Stars then I published Getaway (Liv’s story). Balak ko ay gagawin kong Lost Stars ang ‘Flyaway’ at hinati ko na rin siya sa tatlong books, all under the title, ‘Lost Stars’ since it’s a very long story. Hindi ko na rin dapat ipu-publish ang story ni Mel pero kalagitnaan ng pagsusulat ko ng Getaway, naisipan kong ituloy nang gawin silang series. Now, the new titles are:
Lost Stars (XZ)
Rewrite the Star (Rai)
Swinging on A Star (Mel)
A Sky Full of Stars (Liv)
I’ve also decided to cut out the whole Book 2 of Lost Stars so magta-time skip since after Book 1, Book 3 na agad. Don’t worry, hindi naman sobrang kawalan na hindi na mapu-publish ang Book 2 dahil kung tutuusin ay fillers ang mga ito. Some stuff in Book 2 are:
- XZ living in Ireland with Eze and their parents (knowing some stories about their parents and when they were still babies)
- XZ getting to know her cousins more, diving deeper into their personalities and problems (DFDVF are the Lost Stars Men under the Lost Stars Series that’s why I included them in Lost Stars Book 2)
- XZ knowing more about her family (you’ll get to know this din eventually in Lost Stars Series)
- XZ convincing Eze that it’s time for him to look for something else because he already found her and reassured him that this time, she won’t get lost again
- XZ re-reading some of Nereo’s letters (from time to time) and slowly healing
- XZ staring at Damien’s social media profile from time to time
- some Rewrite the Stars overlap, XZ and Rai getting to know each other more
- XZ living in different countries, trying to date but failed
- Liv visiting XZ in some places she has lived
- XZ secretly keeping an eye on Mel because she ran away with Tristan Go
- XZ ‘What Now?’ Era (searching for things she simply can’t find no matter wherever she goes
- Liv convincing XZ it’s time to go back [start of Book 3]
A LOT happens in Book 2 but you’re not missing out so don’t worry and just enjoy Book 3 which will now be known as Book 2 since wala na nga yung Book 2 dapat. The reason why I did this is because Lost Stars is suuupeeeerr looooong. Almost 150k words (unedited) na agad yung Book 1, imagine if I won’t cut Book 2 out and then add Book 3. My story Way Back To You has almost a hundred chapters but when I edited it, nagawa ko siyang almost 130k na lang but Lost Stars? I don’t think I can compress it to that length. I hope you understand. Maiintindihan niyo pa rin naman ang Book 3 without the original Book 2 and I hope you enjoy it.
