Kai stood in front of her door, the full body mirror hanging on it. She was dressed in a crop top, with a skirt—similar to the outfit that he got for her, but a dark color that she was fine with, going better with her skin tone than the light color. Though the one he gave her went well with her, she just preferred darker colors.
But her eyes didn't focus on her. She was beautiful, a normal body always had flaws. But she didn't like her flaws.
Her stretch marks showed on her arms, stomach, and legs. Her stomach had a chub to it, she didn't like it. She hated the look.
So she took off her skirt to swap out for sweatpants, giving a soft smile, she felt ready now.
Exiting the door of her room, she went to the kitchen to see her cookies in the tot. "Get out of that!" She shouted at her brother who was about to go in them.
"What?" He asked, turning over not getting why she was so defensive—thinking their mom made them for siblings.
"I made them for my friend. Fuck off." Kai took the bowl, glaring at him as she put the top on.
"Make some for us." He glared, crossing his arms.
"Dude, you're 20. Make your own food." Kai walked out of the kitchen, walked out the door, fiddling with her hair to look good.
She almost fell from the gap in the tiles, but just hit the gate in front of her.
Kai grumbled some words, lifted the gate latch, and walked out. She turned around, walking across the street next to her to the house.
Walking up to the gate, going the same thing as she went to the porch. It creaked a bit, as she stepped on the wood. Her thumb pressed the doorbell.
Slightly rummaging headed from the other side of the door, she felt her heart pounding more than it was just before. "I got it!" A sweet little voice shouted as the door jerked open.
"Lilly!" Micheal shouted. The two stared at Kai. The girl showing her bright happy smile—oh the young days to be happy.
"Kai!" The girl swung the screen door open latching onto her leg tightly.
Kai smiled, as Micheal sighed seeing his little sister act like a monkey. "I brought some cookies." Kai held out the bowl, but the girl got off of her quickly to take it and rush to the kitchen while screaming "Cookies!"
"What are you guys yelling about?" Tyler reviled himself, Kai smiled seeing him. He flinched, and hands went through his hair trying to tame it down.
"I came to help work on the test." Micheal walked to Lilly in the kitchen, Tyler staring at her natural look.
Tyler smiled, nodding his head as both of them walked to his room. "I made cookies but I think the two are eating them." Kai chuckled, watching as Tyler turned.
"One moment, you can go in the room." He said, rushing down to get one at least.
Kai stood there, and Tyler shut the door. The natural light was the source of them being able to see right now.
Her eyes scanned the place first. It was large, larger than her mom's room which was the master room. He had large closets, as the regular assumption for master bedrooms. There was a large king bed, the sheets were a beautiful blue. And he had two nightstands on the side of it.
There was a corner-side desk with an expensive setup. A dresser. A master bathroom that she saw was colored blue.
Tyler came back, eating the rest of the cookie, noticing her looking around. He cursed at himself for not having the place clean. "Sorry for the mess." He said.
