Honk!!

Kai jumped, startled as she turned away from her mom to see Tyler outside snicking. He had the door open, hand resting on the stirring wheel.

"I'll see you guys later, love you." She waved bye to her mom and Aponi—her brother probably in his room playing games. She pulled the door shut, turning her head back over at Tyler as he opened the gate for her.

"You scared me," Kai said, her hair waving in the August wind. Oh, how she hated the cold weather her birth month gave her. Though she loved the colder seasons, autumn and winter.

"Not all I'm going to do to you." He rushed for his hands to land on her hips.

She leaned in. "You have plans?" Kai whispered as he leaned in.

Tyler only nodded, taking her hand, and pulled her to the other side of the truck, opening the door.

"Who would have thought you could be a gentleman?" She got up. Sitting down, she turned to look at his offended look.

"I always am to you." Tyler defensively said.

"I'm joking." She ruffled his hair, leaning down as she kissed his forehead.

He shut the door, walking around as he got in his side.

"Is your mom alright with you not coming home tonight?" He asked.

"I'm 18, she doesn't mind. I've told her I'll be gone a few times." Kai shrugged, he buckled her in, kissed her cheek, and did himself. "Plus, she wasn't asking why I was gone last night." Kai smiled her dimples in all view.

Tyler smiled, leaning over. "I'm so lucky to have you."

Kai felt her heart race. She took out her phone went to Snapchat and went to her group chat with her friends. He turned the keys, hearing her fingers press on the screen, the small vibrations head from the keyboard sound she had on.

Kai: He kissed my cheek! 😳
Kai: Freaking out, this man got my heart fluttering faster than the butterflies in my tummy. 🤭🤪

He took her phone looking down at her. "You're all mine tonight, not anyone else's." He glanced at the text, snickering.

She reached for the phone but he turned away, making her lean on his shoulder. His hand was closer to her and pressed her back down, she tried to get back up but he was too strong. "Am I making you embarrassed?" He asked, she bit her lip, looking down slightly.

She said nothing, as he grinned, putting her phone in her hand. She didn't move, so he kept his hand on her head, playing with her hair as he drove off. "You fine if we go to a hotel?" He asked.

"I don't mind if we stay the night in this truck." She put her hand on his thigh, making him tense slightly, but calm down.

They drove in silence, radio as a commercial break came on.

He stopped moving his hand, about to remove it but her hand grabbed it and placed it back on her forearm. "Needy as much." He snickered.

She pouted, moving slightly as she pulled his shirt up slightly. "What are you doing?" He asked, shocked.

"Just keep your eyes on the road." She kissed his chest, making him feel a shock go through his body.

"Don't do this on the road." He scolds her.

"What are you going to do, punish me?" She asked, her fingers pressed on his side making him flinch from how cold she is.

Kai leaned more toward him, hurting her side as she was in a terrible position, but seeing him like that was a sight she'd break her back for. Her lips pressed to his side, leaving a small amount of lipstick on him. Her tongue swirled around his nipple.

Tyler made a sharp turn making her fall in his lap as his hand pressed on her head to keep her down. "I'm trying to give us a romantic setting. Not a horny one." Tyler groaned, pulling up to a hotel. He parked, and took the keys out of the truck, letting Kai's head go. She rose up, turning her head to the hotel.

"You say that, but we're still at a hotel," Kai muttered.

"I already check in." Tyler opened his door, as she crossed her arms. He chuckled, shutting the door and walking around the truck to open the door for her. Tyler offered his hand to her, making her take it and walk with him to the hotel.

"So what are we going to do that's romantic? Eat served food?" She asked as they walked in. Her breath was gone as she started at the chandeliers hanging from the ceilings, beautiful flooring, and walls.

"Harsh, I would never do that for our date." He said, taking her to the elevator.

"So what are we doing?" She tried to remain on her footing. But she was excited now. It oozed from her.

Tyler pressed the highest number floor and kissed her head. "You'll see." He whispered, as the doors shut, going up.

"You're getting me excited." She admitted, taking his warmth.

"You get me excited when I see you." He whispered as she wormed her way into his arms, facing him.

"Same." She gently spoke.

"What if we're one person and the other is the figment of the other's imagination?" Kai whispered, thinking now.

Tyler genuinely laughed, throwing his head back as he came back to her. Like he will always.

"Well, I'm glad my mind is giving me my dream girl?" He kissed her forehead, as she wrapped her arms around his torso.

"You like crazy people?" Kai asked worriedly.

"Oh I love crazy people," Tyler whispered.

Kai only chuckled, tip-toeing her way up to him, though he still held the high ground by a lot. "You do not spouse to agree." She whispered, taking one hand away from him to put it on his cheek.

He melted into her touch, leaning down slightly, their nose brushing each other.

Kai wanted him.

Tyler wanted her.
