TW: Jane's mean to Anna, Kat and Anne are uncontrollable, mild KatAnna, swearing (as per usual), Anne's a controlling cousin, the day is a mess

Kat's POV

Three days ago there was a massive fight between Jane and Anna, and ever since, they haven't said a word to each other. At all! And this makes it so difficult for me and Anne to be friends because Anna is always telling me to be with her and no one else. So, me and Anne, being the geniuses we are, decided to do a magic show to get them to talk. A magic show! You'll see what I mean.

---

"Cathy! Catherine! Jane! Come downnn!" Kat screamed up the stairs, whilst Anne was preparing her magic table. All the while, Anna sat down on the sofa, sipping a cup of tea and watching them rehearse. She was on duty today, and for once, it was a breeze to look after them.

"Kat, what do you want?" Catherine and Jane walked down together, holding hands. Catalina followed them.

"We have a magic show! Stand this way so you can have a good view," Everyone's mouths hung open as the three heads turned to Anna.

"What? They were being good and polite. I let them do what they want."

"You allowed them to do this?" Catherine asked, unamused.

"...yes."

All three of them let out a groan of disappointment, either smacking their foreheads or turning to God to save them.

"What?" Kat asked, arms behind her back, swaying excitedly. "It's really good. We've been practising all day!"

"Mon Dieu." Jane sighed.
"You're not even French???" Catherine looked at Jane, confused.
"And???"

"OKAY BRACE YOURSELVES, HERE WE GO!" Anne shouted over them.

The magic show wasn't the least interesting for sure. In between each act, Kat would do impressions of the other queens whilst Anne set up for the next. All in all, everyone was amused for a good forty-five minutes... until the last act.

"LADIES AND CATHY-"

"Why am I not a lady?"
"You're a robot," Kat cut in.
"Wha- How-"

"ANYWAY, this next act is called: Where's the Kitty Kat?"

"Is this like Where's Wally but IRL?" Catherine asked.

"Yes, but no. Kat won't be a dude with glasses stuck in a book, she'll be missing. Like properly missing. And all you guys need to find her."

"So this isn't magic, it's hide and seek?" Jane tried.

"No no no, this is very much magic. How do you think we hide Kat in the first place?" Anne patted Kat on the head, who smiled wide, grinning from ear to ear.

"If it isn't clear already, we all have no faith in either of you. But let's see what you've got-"

"Told you Cathy's a robot. She's doing all of this data collecting from the others and then telling us what they think." Kat whispered to Anne who nodded vigorously, making Cathy roll her eyes.

"Why do they hate me so much?" she whispered dejectedly to Jane, who put an arm around her.

"They're just pulling your leg because they know they'll get a reaction out of you. You know that they adore you. Kat especially."

"I guess so."

"Wait, wait, wait, how are you letting the Kat out of the box again?" Anna asked. "I didn't see you rehearse this one."

"We didn't have enough time to practice all of it, so, uhh... we'll see! Okay, take your place, Kat." Kat stood around two meters before the doorway, confidently, swinging her long pink ponytail.
