Woah triple update, aren't you lucky? I'm throwing myself under the bus for when I don't have time to write and need spares to post, but tbh I don't think that will be the case for the next week or so.

TW: Toby plays with lives, Maiya and Millie/Parrleyn are up first, Anne/Millie takes her chances, Toby wants to play with Wolfie but Lucy doesn't let him

"Maiya and Millie first, right: what type of room do they need?"

"Give them one bed," Toby smirked, earning a smack on the shoulder from Lucy.

"It could be either a blessing or a curse," Vicki explained. "We don't know how Millie behaves in situations like this. She could either be severely friend-zoned and uncomfortable being anywhere near Maiya, or she'd make Maiya feel uncomfortable by being all over her 24/7."

"The latter would be funnier," Toby laughed, earning another smack.

"We're playing with their lives."

"Yeah, and it's funny. Look, what's the worst that could happen?"

"We don't know, and that's the point."

"Give her a chance."

"Maiya's straighter than a ruler."

"But we're not talking about Maiya."

"What do you mean, we are?"

"Who has this massive stupid crush?"

"Millie," Vicki replied incredulously, making Toby shake his head.

"No, it's Anne," Toby sighed, making Vicki roll her eyes. "Look, we don't know what sexuality either Anne or Catherine Parr was. We don't know."

"And there's only one way to find out," Lucy added.

"Alright, fine, but give them two separate beds."

"No. One king size is good enough. Saves money too," Toby justified.

------------------------------------------

"Right, here's your flat, here's the key, have a great time, and don't complain to us tomorrow," Lucy said, shoving the key in Millie's hand and closing the door behind them. They put their bags and suitcases down, and walked around silently, together with their thoughts.

"This is quite beautiful actually," Maiya broke the silence, turning to Millie, who nodded.

"It's nice, Lucy did well. Now, where's the bed?"

"Presumably we have a room each, right?" Maiya asked as they both checked behind all closed doors. Millie panicked.

"Oh... uh... really?"

"I mean yeah, why wouldn't we?"

They carried on searching, but they couldn't find one.

"Well, it's the one bed then."

Maiya pulled her suitcase inside the room, leaving Millie alone to cheer silently to herself.

-------------------------

"Anne-"
"It's Millie."

The pair lay side by side, their hands entangled with each other. Maiya looked up at the ceiling whilst Millie stole glances at her.

"Can we cuddle?"

"Yeah, of course," Millie said, allowing Maiya to cuddle into her embrace. Millie began to sweat as Maiya rest her chin on her shoulder, extremely close to her neck.

"Why's Toby doing this?"

"What?"

"Making us be together."

"I don't know. I don't mind it though." Maiya agreed.

"What's wrong with us?" she asked.

"In terms of?"

"Why do you call me Cathy and why do I call you Anne?" Millie shrugged.

"I don't know. You suit the name Cathy."

"You suit the name Anne."

"Maybe that's why."

They lay there silently, Millie still panicking. She stroked Maiya's ponytail, placing a kiss on her head.

"Go to sleep sweetheart, you're tired."

"I know..." Maiya groaned, adjusting herself so she was even closer to Millie. Millie panicked further.

Maybe I should tell her...Or ask her first... Millie thought. Mils, you're gonna hate yourself for this...

"Mai?"

"Mhm?"

"Can I talk to you?"

"You are?"

"No, as in, properly... like if I talk to you about my feelings and things."

"Of course! Millie, you're my best friend," Maiya smiled.

"Okay, thank you."

"It's okay, Millie," Maiya said sweetly.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Are you sure?"

"What do you mean? Mils, I love you. Love."

"But like... okay, I'm phrasing this wrong. Remember when Aimie started going loopy, and then we followed suit?"

"With this whole situation, yeah."

"We started calling each other Cathy and Anne, remember?"

"Yeah, I do."

"I really felt like I was Anne."

"I felt like I was Cathy."

"You did?"

"Yeah, the feeling was indescribable."

"I agree. But, since then, I felt like I was no longer thinking how I used to. Like I was almost following Anne's thought process."

"I see you..."

"Like I could read Anne's mind."

"Mhm."

"And I can't help but feel like she had a little thing for you."

"Me?"

"Well, I have no clue. Maybe Cathy, or maybe I like you and I just don't have my head screwed on properly."

"Well, this is interesting," she sighed, keeping her place against Millie. "I don't mind either way. I don't think I love you back, but thank you for loving me," Maiya smiled.

"I know it's probably really gross on your part, but-"

"You want to kiss me?"

"How did you-"

"It's obvious."

"Oh... Can I?"

"Of course," Maiya leaned in to capture Millie's lips, allowing them to move in sync. She kept them connected, letting Millie use her discretion to pull away when necessary.

"Your lips are so soft," Millie smiled, pulling away.

"Yours are as well. Very delicate."

"Thank you."

"No worries."

-------------------------

"Oh Toby, we've probably fucked Millie over," Lucy smacked her forehead as she lay on Toby's bed, Toby at his piano.

"Lucy, Millie's fine. They're best friends."

"We've probably ruined their friendship."

"She has an excuse if she goes too far as Millie."

"But I'm not worried about Millie. Think of Maiya. She has a boyfriend."

"She does?"

"Jack. Don't you remember?"

"Couldn't you have brought this up beforehand?"

"Well, I forgot 'beforehand'. Millie's probably gone and sucked her face off."

"Lucy, they are friends. They'll work it out."

"Neither of them asked for this."

"I love how Millie's the biggest worry in all of this."

"Millie's more fragile than she seems."

"She's younger than a lot of them."

"Everyone!"

"Not Maiya."

"Oh."

"Exactly."

"Well, now what, Toby?"

"We'll check in on them on Friday, but for now we need to sort out the dressing rooms."

"Put each pair together."

"We're treating them like prisoners."

"They gave their consent for us to do that in our contract.

"They did?"

"No one reads the fine print so I put a few things in there."

"Like what?"

"Not saying."

"Well, you're useless. Right, we'll work on Lexi and Jaye'J's pairings later today, but for now, I'm going to Aimie and Gribby's."

"Why?"

"I want to play with Wolfie, obviously."

"Toby, we need to be efficient."

"Yeah, we are."

"How so?"

"Just... be more chill."

"Wrong musical."

"That's the joke."

"Thank god we're not dealing with a Chloe Valentine."

"I know, Millie's a handful already."

"Yeah... wait, why Millie?"

The pair stopped, their eyes widening.

"Why did we immediately associate a fictional character with Millie O'Connell?"

"Something's not adding up..."
