TW: Katanna, Kat's a cannibal, Anna's a ray of sunshine, Kat's been single all her life, it's fluffy, I don't think there's any swearing for once, Kat's an author, that's pretty much it

Kat walked into her new local coffee shop, sat at a table by the window, opened her laptop and clicked into her Word document.

She had been working on "Paranoid" for two months but kept receiving an unhelpfully large bout of writer's block, an author's worst nightmare.

But the worst thing about the situation was that her book was a love story.

Kat had never fallen in love before. So long for "write from experience" tactics.

"Good morning, can I get anything for you?"

"The WiFi password would be great," Kat said, drawing her eyes away from her computer to meet the waitress staring down at her. She giggled.

"I meant if you wanted anything to eat or drink. There's no password, by the way."

"So people can see my search history?"

"Yeah, but... no one looks at that. Why? Are you hiding something?"

"Yeah... how to rob a bank," Kat joked.

"Yeah right. Okay, now what would you like?"

"Chocolate muffin... yeah, two chocolate muffins and one hot chocolate please?" The waitress looked concerned.

"I'll get you some tap water with that as well."

"That would be great, thank you," Kat smiled, twirling her plaits.

"My name is Anna, if you need anything else, please come to me," she smiled. "When you're done, just come to the counter to pay."

"Thank you. I'm Kat."

"It's nice to meet you, Kat." She walked away and began to assemble Kat's order.

Kat looked back at her laptop. Love? Never heard of it. But she did think Anna was very beautiful... and kind... and funny...

Oh shit. So this was love?

"Kat, are you okay?"

Kat shot back into the present, feeling tears stream down her face. Anna was standing in front of her, concerned. She put the tray down and sat beside Kat.

"It may be unprofessional on my part but would you like a hug?"

Kat nodded, leaning into Anna's embrace.

"It's hard... writing for a living when you have no experience on the topic you've chosen. I'm such an idiot for picking this storyline. The worst thing is that my last book was a hit for months, and now everyone wants a sequel. But I don't know what to write! And if I write anything bad then everyone will be mad at me..."

Anna nodded.

"The writer of "Trustworthy"?" Anna asked her.

"Yes, that is me. But this new book is going nowhere. I've never been in a relationship! I don't know what to write!"

"It's okay, calm down. I recently broke from a relationship so maybe I could give you some ideas?"

"Oh, that would be great!"

"I could be beside you while you write... I'm not really needed today. Or I could give you my number."

"If you're not required, please sit beside me... If that isn't too... you know..."

"Of course."

Anna sat beside Kat, giving her tips on how to grow the characters' relationship, and Kat only watched in awe.
