TW: Cheating, Aramour and Boleves, but Araleyn's a bitch, divorce, violence, Henry ain't that bad, Parrward fluff, Cathy always speaks at the wrong time, light smut.

Catherine and Jane. Jane and Catherine. Anne and Anna. Anna and Anne.
It's how it was. It always was.

Aramour and Boleves.
It's how it was. It always was.

Anna and Anne were engaged. Catherine and Jane were dating.
It's how it was. It always was.

Anne and Catherine worked together, and Jane and Anna did too. Together they talked about their partners and planned exciting dates to take them on.

It's how it was. It always was.

Well, to Jane and Anna, that's how it was.

To Anne and Catherine... maybe not.

Definitely not.

Anne and Catherine had an unforgivable secret kept between them (and Kat). Their partners finding out would immediately cause them to break up.

They knew how wrong they were for doing what they did. But they just couldn't get enough of each other. Ever since the first day they took each other to bed when their partners were away that night, they haven't been able to part.

Anna and Jane unfortunately were scheduled to finish later than Anne and Catherine, which made them both upset as it would take longer until they see their partners.

"I miss Anne," Anna grumbled, typing at her computer next to Jane.

"I miss her too. I miss all of them, Catherine more, though."

"Why are we so attached to them? It's literally been six hours."

"I know, it's so wrong of us. But... you know..."

"I do... Did you text Catherine?"

"Yeah... did you text Anne?"

"Yeah. They're probably gonna be gutted to-"

"Anna von Kleve, please go to Henry Tudor's office," a colleague called her.

"Please, it sounds like I've committed a crime at school."

Anna slipped from her desk and went to Henry's office.

"You finished your spreadsheet over the weekend, I see."

"Yeah, I did."

"You're free to go. There's no need for you to spend long hours here."

"Oh, thank you."

"No problem. Have a good evening."

Anna walked out, happy with herself for planning ahead instead of accompanying Kat on another squirrel-catching walk.

"Hey, Jane," Anna called over the desk.

"I've been let off early because I finished my bit on Saturday, so I'm gonna go."

"Ah, lucky. Well, I'm stuck here so I'll see you back in a couple."

Anna waved as she walked out the door. She wanted to text Anne to tell her she was coming home early, but she also wanted to surprise her.

----------------

"Annie?"

"Mhm?"

"Just got a text from Jane. She and Anna are staying late at work. More than three hours more."

"Oh... great."

"Yeah, I was thinking... We have enough time before they come back for a good round of it, you know."
