TW: Anne's a protective child, the queens learn about themselves, Kat's sad, worst history lesson ever:<<<, the class learns something cool about their classmates omg (this is cringe sorry), damn this story's so short I had no idea what to write at some point.

Anne was having a great time at school. 'C'est fantastique !' as she'd described it. She had the best friends, and the companion of her cousin, Kat, who (though three years younger than her), was smart enough to study in Anne's year. She was surrounded by people whom she loved and loved what she learned.

Until one day.

One fucking day Anne finally found someone she wanted to execute.

"Today, class, we'll be learning about the Tudors."

Anne and Kat looked at each other, rolling their eyes.

"Catherine of Aragon was the most beautiful queen-"

"Yeah right, then why did he divorce her and marry me- I mean, Anne?"

"Be quiet, Anne. As I was saying-"

Anne sighed, bracing herself for the rest of the lesson. She said some nice things about Anne and didn't spill any lies but unfortunately, Kat didn't get the same treatment.

"Catherine Howard was the youngest queen, and was sex-driven, cheating on Henry because he couldn't keep her sex drive. That's it. She was nineteen when she was beheaded, but she deserved it."

Anne's head whipped around to Kat, who was crying quietly. She slowly raised her hand.

"Yes, Kat?"

"I d-di-didn't- I didn't ch-cheat- I w-was- I was f-for-forced t-to b-be w-with Th-Thom-Thomas..." she sobbed, standing up slowly. "Annie knew Thomas... h-he was mean..."

Anne stood up beside Kat, squeezing her hand, but Kat let go, unclipping her collar around her neck, which she wore to hide the scar. She ran her finger along the scar. Everyone was watching in awe at this point, either terrified, or... terrified. Concerned, as well, but certainly terrified.

"This was from adultery and sexual abuse. I didn't want it... I never did. I ju-just-" Kat broke down, sobbing into Anne's chest, clutching onto the B.

"You're the real wives of Henry? Reincarnated?"

"Ex-wives. Kat didn't deserve it. She's hot, get over it. It didn't mean that she had to be treated by men that way."

Anne unclipped her own collar, revealing her scar.

"Just like the fact that I wasn't a witch. Seeing a portrait of mine in Harry Potter? It's nice to have a cameo, but it's misleading and degrading."

Kat continued to sob, squeezing Anne.

"I'm sorry for breaking down, but I'm not a slut, I promise. I wish I could prove myself, but I guess at the time, I didn't know that it was wrong. Anne didn't deserve it. She was the best wife to Henry, the kindest, the sweetest, and in my opinion, the prettiest. She was so loyal, and only got her head chopped off because she didn't have a baby boy."

"Henry was a horrid man... repulsive... He didn't deserve any of us. Any of us six. He didn't deserve the badass monarchs we were. He didn't deserve Catalina," she gestured to her girlfriend in the corner of the room, snacking on pretzels.

"Catalina was married to her dead husband's brother, without time to even grieve about his passing. Jane was the most innocent girl I've ever met," she gestured to another girl, the kindest in the class, sitting in the front row with her head buried in a book, who looked up innocently.

"Jane stood by Henry, loving him, even when she knew that he wasn't a great guy. But she did so with compassion, and proudly. She died honourably, but she didn't deserve a life with Henry. Then Anne, who was known as Anna as she is today, thank you very much," she gestured to a darker-haired girl who sat beside Kat, the geek.

"Turn to her now and tell me she isn't gorgeous. Go on. Anna had no reason to be rejected by an old man who was already suffering from gout and other repulsive health issues. Neither did Kat. They were both teens and young adults at the time. Imagine you guys having to live with someone as old as your father, and have a relationship with him? Exactly. You can't. And then there's Cathy," Anne gestured to the popular girl, Kat's girlfriend.

"Cathy?"
"Wait, aren't you guys enemies?"
"You know each other? Like, know know?"

Anne ignored the terribly inappropriate questions being fired at her and carried on with her argument.

"Cathy outlived Henry, after having four marriages prior. Her child was always forgotten about, bless her. Again, Cathy deserved to be with the people she loved, not Henry. So you see, we didn't deserve Henry. Every negative thing you hear about us is pure bollocks. And I'd appreciate you not telling anyone about our reincarnations," she informed, snapping the collars back on and sitting back down, crossing her arms and placing one leg over the other.

"Continue, Miss Payne," she said calmly, ignoring her teacher's terrified expression.

"I think that's enough Tudor history for today..."
