TW: Your favourite characters are homophobic in this, Araleyn, INTRODUCING LIZZIE AND MARY, Jane gets no rest but she deserves it, Anna's smart, Anne's just trying to be a mother

Jane sat back on the sofa, sipping her warm cup of tea. Kat had a residential trip with Lizzie for the week, which allowed her to get a few hours of peace and quiet. Although she adored Kat and Lizzie both and had no issue with helping them gain self-confidence, it was obvious how much she needed a bit of time to herself.

She'd hoped for a minute of peace. Hoped.

"ANNEEEEEE!"

"Oh for fuck's sake!" Jane cried, throwing her head back and wincing at Catherine's shriek. "Don't scream down the stairs, Catherine!"

"ANNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

"For crying out loud."

----------------------------------

"Anne you piece of crap, GET OUT OF MY FUCKING ROOM-"

"ABSOLUTELY NOT. HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO ADHERE TO YOUR RULES AFTER THIS? THIS!"

"WHAT?"

Anne pointed to her shiny green "B" collar, which had been ripped in half.

"THIS. THIS, CATHERINE. YOU RIPPED IT. THE ONLY THING WHICH PROTECTS ME FROM MY BIGGEST SECRET-"

"FOR FUCK'S SAKE ANNE, IT'S A COLLAR! A FUCKING COLLAR! BUY ANOTHER ONE!"

"WHY. DID. YOU. RIP. IT?"

"WELL IT WASN'T INTENTIONAL-"

"Please stop fighting," a small voice spoke from the doorway, with a sad-looking Cathy.

"Sorry, Cathy, but Aragon over here decided to rip the collar Kat bought for me."

"Oh, that's sad. You probably get those from Primark. Get another one."

"CATHY IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THA-"

"ANNE BOLEYN YOU MAY NOT SHOUT AT CATHERINE LIKE THAT."

"WHY THE FUCK NOT, ARAGON?"

"Ugh..." Cathy groaned as she walked away.

"I hate you."

"I hate you too. No surprise there."

"But I despise you."

"I despise you too."

Anne walked out with a huff, tears threatening to spill from her eyes.

------------------

"Why is Catherine so mean?" Anne pouted to Jane, who sighed. "She's a bitch to everyone except if it's their death day. Even Kat! You know the crap she says about her! About her being a slut and shit. Like, come on! Am I meant to deal with the absolute bullshit she gives me?"

"No."

"Well then? I wish she was just nicer to me. Like, I wish I could talk to her."

"Why would you want to talk to her if she hates you?"

"..."

"Anne?"

"I don't know, okay? But it's annoying having your blood pressure raised every five minutes because she's in the room."

"I understand, but you get what you're given. You could try to get alo-"

"Absolutely not," Catherine confirmed as she walked into the room.

"Go away, Catherine."

"You can't tell me what to do," Catherine snapped. Anne turned to Jane, who shrugged.
