The day is finally here. It's been a year, and Kayline couldn't wait to see her sister. All day women have been filtering in from many different countries getting ready to be suitors for the princes.
The Royal Family and her have been welcoming people in at the door. Bowing and paying their respects. When a lush brown sub pulls up to the bottom of the stairs on the driveway, Kayline holds her breath. She can almost see their silhouettes from the window. And then her beautiful sister steps out in an extravagant dress. Kayline couldn't help but hold in a laugh, if her sister hasn't changed over the year, she just knows that she is struggling to find the joy in this.
She was stunningly beautiful. Her face has gotten rid of some of the baby face, and her hair framed her cheekbone wonderfully. Her skin was tan and clear. And her sweet sweet smile lit up the road. Kayline wanted to run into her arms, missing her embrace and holding her head.
Chris managed to catch her looking. Her smile didn't change on her face but her eyes did. They lit up and they said hi. Kayline allowed herself to smile a little more and looked away. Behind her was Noah. And that was when everything stopped.
He looked the same, but everything about him screamed differently. His hair was longer and the curls hung delicately across his face. He looked even more toned and buff than what he did before, but maybe that was just Kayline missing him.
He was looking around, as a security guard should, but Kayline knew better, because the second that he laid eyes on her the world stopped again. She had missed his eyes, she missed his smile. She had missed him. And she could tell that he missed her too. His leg began to move up the steps, but he stopped himself and played it off as helping Chris up the stairs.
Kayline looked at the boys. Wills face was completely enamored. She followed his eye line and it landed on Chris. Perfect. Way to go Chris. You and your amazing genetics.
Ryker leaned over to whisper in her ears. "This is going to be so much fun."
"Don't worry Your Highness. You'll find your future wife sooner than later." He groaned
"I don't want a wife right now."
"Right you just want to plan attacks on your own kingdom."
"Hey that's not what happened."
"Yeah but it did. Are you willing to accept that?" He just frowned and returned to his straightened position. Everyone made it into the ballroom. Kayline stood with the girls next to the royal family and can feel Noah's gaze on her from here. She can also feel chris' hungry and anticipating. They were here and they were going to win. They were going to uncover more of Rykers secrets. They were going to uncover their Boss' intentions.
She sees Will walking over to her and she knew that she had to get him thinking about Chris.
"So, I caught you looking at a possible suitor." I angle my head pointing at chris. I notice a small blush creep across his cheeks
"It is foolish of me to think so ahead of time, I don't even know her name. I'm not the only one who is admiring." Kayline looked at with him with curiosity. He angled his head toward Noah and she knew that he saw her blush
"I was not admiring." She said. Will just laughed.
"What's so funny?" She asked.
"Nothing." He chuckled.
"Cmon tell me, what?"
"You're just so bad at it."
"Bad at what?"
"The way you lie."
Sorry for the rushed ending, but I wanted to be able to complete a project with the premise of new projects. Thank you for your time and help! Love you guys! <33
