Scars and Bruises
Kayline McKenzieKayline and her new enemy go toe to toe. She swings a punch but Kayline dodges. Using her advantage of kneeling on the floor, Kayline throws a punch to her enemies gut, causing her to bend over. Kayline throws a left-hand hook, and her enemy falls backwards. While her enemy was on the floor, Kayline thought to have a little fun.
" You know, I ought to know your name." Kayline takes a quick breath. " I mean, you probably won't tell me, you know with the whole enemy and all, but I don't know you just look like a-um- well let's see... Edna. That's it." Kayline jokes. Aggravating your enemy is always an easy route. And sure enough it works. She turns around just in time to see 'Edna' coming right for her.
Edna comes at Kayline with a thousand punches a mile. Kayline dodges a couple, but Edna manages to get a good swing on me. Kayline head pounds with pain, an siren goes off through her ears and her eyes try to keep themselves open. But Kayline's training kicks in, along with adrenaline.
A hot metallic taste spreads through Kayline's mouth, revealing to her, that she's bleeding somewhere. Oh well. Kayline swallows the metal taste and continues to go after her attacker.
Kayline sees Noah for a split second, heading after the other men. Kayline sees him through a cloud of fists, throw the swinging doors open, turn the corner and he is gone.
Kayline's thoughts get distracted as another throw comes her way. Kayline throws her enemy a quick glare before catching Edna's fist and twisting it. Edna screams with pain. Kayline yanks Edna's injured arm towards her and throws her own head at Edna's forehead.
Edna looks dazed, giving Kayline a chance to get low and swing her legs against Edna's, causing her once more, to fall on her butt. Kayline gets on top of her and holds the collar of her shirt. Kayline shakes her senseless.
" What do you want with her! She is just a kid!" Kayline shouts. Edna doesn't answer put grabs her hand and pulls it to her mouth. Next thing you know, she's biting Kayline. Kayline throws her grip off Edna and stupidly gets off her.
She pulls a knife out and starts swinging. Great. Kayline steps side to side. Kayline moves her hands delicately, putting them behind Edna's fists, blocking her knife from slicing Kayline. She grabs Edna's wrist again, keeping her in place and kicks her in the stomach. She takes a couple of steps back from the blow and Kayline follows her. Kayline punches her once, twice, now three times. Edna drops the knife.
When Kayline picks it up, Edna tries to run away. Foolish move really. Kayline doesn't even think and throws the knife. Kayline hits her mark and Edna's shoulder is glued, well I guess you can say stapled or knifed, into the wall.
As soon as Edna slams into the wall, Noah comes back around the corner. He looks good enough except a cut on his face and a bloody nose. He looks Kayline up and down as well.
Kayline takes a look at herself and she thought she did alright, expect for the cuts in her clothes, her bleeding forehead and lip.
Kayline walks over to Edna and before she pulls the knife out, she sees the tattoo on her shoulder. They can check that out later. Kayline rips the knife out of her shoulder, unhesitatingly and she lets out a cry. Kayline gives Edna one more punch. She slumps across the floor.
