"Ok, so...for a burger to be tasty, it all starts with the buns. They gotta be buttery and toasty." Street explained carefully, putting on the blue apron.

"Yes, chef." Chris responded sternly, imitating a military like response.

Chris's apartment was transformed into a restaurant venue. Street had gathered all the ingredients to prepare dinner and she took care of setting up the table. A wine bottle was used as part of the center piece, as neither officer felt like it. Instead, each has capped off their own beer bottle.

"Ok" he said, as he finished lacing up the apron behind his back. "So, get the buns ready while I- woah! Hey!" He jumped when he felt her hand squeeze his buttocks.

Chris giggled, as she approached him, leaning forward, inches from his face. She teased him, biting her lower lip and smiling devilishly.

"Hey!" she whispered.

"Hey!" he said with a smile, full dimple action. She placed a gentle hand on his cheek and pulled him closer to her, pouting her lips close and shutting her eyes.

Some seconds went by, the couple still locked up on each other. Tongue tasting, caressing, loving...

When they pulled away to catch their breathe, they leaned on each other's foreheads, eyes closed.

"You know what? I gotta better idea." Street said, slowly opening his eyes. He placed both hands gently on the sides of her head, cuddling her face.

He smiled, as she slowly opened her eyes and stared into his. " Oh, yeah? What's that?"

"How about you lead the way?" he said, slowly caressing her cheeks with his thumbs. "I'll be your sous chef"

"My what?" she asked confused.

He giggled. "Chris, you gotta learn the proper terms of cooking, babe! Sous chef is an assistant to the top chef, the boss." he said with a smirk.

She frowned, then giggled and shook her head slowly, "I just wanted a burger and fries. You were the one that turned this into a Food Network show and fancy restaurant, genius!"

They both shared a giggle. Street pulled her close and whisper, "Coz I wanted this to be special. Make it together."

He planted a soft kiss on her lips, while she savored his taste and closed her eyes in obvious approval. She placed her arms around his neck and pulled him even closer, digging her tongue into his mouth.

After some minutes, they pulled away and she said, "You know what would make this even more special?"

"What?" he asked slowly, still coming back from paradise.

"Take out... coz I am NOT cooking!" Chris said sternly, taking off the apron and turning away.

"Chris! Chris!" Street called, standing lonely in the kitchen. He shook his head and rolled his eyes. "C'mon Chris! I went to the store. Got everything we needed!"

"Street, I'm not in the mood. Ok?" she said settling in the couch. She grabbed one of her cushions and placed it behind her back, then grabbed another. She lifted both legs, squished both knees together, up to her chin and placed the second cushion between the furniture and her legs. "It was a long day...I'm tired!"

"You're always tired!" Street complained.

"C'mon, I don't wanna play house!"  she said, leaning sideways to grab her phone. "I'm getting double bacon cheeseburger, extra cheese and mayo. What do you want? On me!"

"On you?" he said surprised.

"Yeah, I got this one." she said cheerfully, eyes glued to her cell.

"You do?" he asked surprised, again.

"Yeah" she snapped annoyed, eyes still glued to the screen.

Silence.

"Street?" she called, going through the menu online.

Silence.

"Aw, c'mon!" she complained. Since no response was given, she took a deep breath. "Fine" she said rolling her eyes, grinning. "Baby, what do you want to eat?"  she said slowly, asking as nicely as she could....even though she was starving!

"Anything, right?" she heard him ask while still looking over the menu.

"Yes."  she answered calmly.

"And you got this one?"  Street asked, getting on her nerves. She didn't bother to look up.

"Street, seriously?" she said, now truly annoyed. "Hurry up or I'll order you from the kid's menu!" she threatened.

BZZZZT

BZZZZT

"Nope, Luca. No time now. Call you later!" she said swiping left. She took a deep breath, now hearing her stomach churning. "Babe, seriously!" she demanded now truly pissed. She kept scrolling and scrolling.

"Put the phone down!" Street ordered, calmly.

She frowned, then lowered her mobile. "What?" she asked confused.

She felt something land on the armrest of the sofa, right next to her legs. Something soft. Blue.

She couldn't focus or even turn to look as her eyes caught a glimpse of the warm pair of pants, underwear and shirt that laid in front of the sofa, in the floor.

Her eyes widened, as a smile crept from the sides of her lips. She felt his warm hand behind her neck, pulling her up to her feet. The strong bare male figure stood tall, right in front of the sofa, with each foot spread to accommodate the rising body from the couch.

"I'm your chef and...uh...I'll give you extra cheese!"
