Background: Y/N has had a traumatic past involving the Red Room and Dreykov with frequent breakdowns that only one Avenger can stop. This audio has inspired this piece.
Y/N POV
My fists collided with the wall again and again, allowing the anger to seep out of my body and overwhelm it giving me only enough headspace to focus on the anger.
I repeated each saying Dreykov said to me.
And each time I did my fist collided with the wall again, leaving an impressive dent in it.
"You're not trash!"
"You're not cold!"
Nat POV
Loud bangs echoed around the compound causing the walls to shake interrupting the meeting. Everyone looked around.
A few people were missing from the meeting so it could have been anyone of them.
"Who's doing that?" I asked annoyed at the constant banging.
Tony shot me a look.
It couldn't have been them?
Y/N POV
I didn't care who heard me.
Why wasn't anything stopping?
Why did the flashbacks and nightmares never seize to exist?
Why did everyone walk around me like I was a bomb about to go off?
I really was a monster.
My vision began to blur as my anger continued to remain dominant, controlling every aspect of my body.
"You're not ugly!"
A warm feeling began to flood across my hand leaving red prints printed on the wall.
I didn't care.
"You're not disgusting!"
Sam POV
Boring debrief. Like hello?! I have wings. I could scout the area and take out everyone by myself. I did not need a debrief. I was Falcon!
Loud bangs pulled me from my own arrogant thoughts and changed the meeting's topic relatively quickly.
"I think it's Y/N," Tony suggested.
"Somebody has to help them," Bucky said jumping up from his chair.
"You're not dirty!" a voice from upstairs screamed.
You could hear the pure pain in their voice.
"I agree with Bucky on this one," I piped up as everyone rose to their feet.
Y/N POV
"You're not spoiled!"
"You're not a monster!"
Loud bangs came from outside my room.
I knew they were coming.
Back into the cell, I go.
"You're not a monster!" I repeated punching the wall as hard as I could. The small dent was now a large hole.
The door flung open smashing against the wall on the other side.
I didn't care.
I didn't flinch.
I just focused on the paintings of red which had mysteriously appeared on the wall near the hole.
I felt warm arms wrap around my back pulling me away from the wall. I elbowed the person as hard as I could but they kept their arms wrapped around me.
"You deserved to be loved!" I screeched, my voice cracking and choking from all the tears that were streaming down my face.
Nat POV
