. . . Momo, Shoji and Izumi hid behind some trees as they watch the giant monstrous form of Dark Shadow rampaging through the forest destroying anything it can get it's shadowy hands on
"Shoji, what happened?" Momo inquired
"yeah, how did he get this way?" Izumi asked him worriedly
"shush! both of you keep it down" Shoji said as he shushed them form making a sound "after Mandalay told us what happened and that we shouldn't engage, we were both on high alert, but still one of the villains got the drop on us" Shoji explained as a flashback appeared showing Shoji and Tokoyami being attacked by multiple metal teethes with on of the teethes ended up severing one of Shoji's hands
"I hid in the bushes and tried to cover for Tokoyami, but one of my arms was cut off" Shoji explained to them in a hushed tone causing Izumi's eye to widen in shock
"really?" Izumi asked him in shock
"yeah, it looks bad, but thanks to Yaoyorozu, at least the pain and bleeding is gone" Shoji said as he gave Momo a grateful nod who merely did the same
"and besides, it's not like my hands is lost forever, my Dupli arms is capable of making duplicates upon duplicates, one of those was cut off, but the thing is, Tokoyami couldn't stand seeing me injured like that, so his quirk that he was suppressing began to rage and took control" Shoji explained just as Dark Shadow let out another roared
"so the the darker it is the less control Tokoyami had on Dark Shadow, I have no idea that his quirk could explode like this" Izumi said in both awe and fear
"yeah, I remember Uraraka saying something like that back in the sports festival" Izumi said as Momo nodded
"and it's probably fueled by his righteous indignation and regret, he's trying to hold it back but they made it wilder" Shoji said
"yes, that's probably why he was in a cave the whole training camp, he was trying to control Dark Shadow in the dark, although from what we can see he hasn't really been able to gain control as much" Momo said before an Idea popped into Izumi's head
"hey Yaoyorozu" Izumi called out gaining Momo's attention "do you think you can make some flashbangs? I mean it work during your fight in the sports festival, it should work here right?" Izumi asked as Momo nodded
"good idea" Momo said as she was abut to create multiple flashbangs when Shoji accidentally step on a twig alerting Dark shadow from their hiding spot who immediately shot out a shadowy arm to grab them but they were able to avoid the attack in time
"it started launching at any sound and movement, like a beast lashing out in indiscriminate attacks" Shoji said as Dark shadow let out another roar as it swung it's hands snapping some trees in half
"forget about me!!! go!! fid our classmates!! and help them instead!! please stop this!!! calm down Dark Shadow" Tokoyami said desperately pleading for them to stop as he struggled for control over Dark Shadow
"Yaoyorozu!!! now!!" Izumi called out as Momo nodded before she immediately threw multiple flashbangs towards Dark shadow before the flashbangs went off covering the whole area i a blinding light that made dark Shadow screech in pain before the bliding light suddenly faded away as dark Shadow stood there unharmed and even more furious causing their eyes to wide i shock
"crap! it's not enough! it's must be because of it's monstrous size, we're gonna need more fire power!!" Momo said with her eyes wide in shock
"but can't you just make more flashbangs?" Izumi called out to her worriedly as Momo shook her head
