Daisy Wood was kissing James Potter.

They were under the large maple tree in the Potters' spacious backyard. The grass was tickling her ankles and the sunlight was shining through at them through the dark green leaves.

Daisy was leaning against the tree's thick trunk and her eyes were shut. James' hands were on her face. But suddenly, the grass began shaking as if an earthquake was occurring. The leaves began falling at a rapid pace and there was a ringing running through her ears and then -

She woke up. She looked around. She was under the soft sheets in her bed, in the privacy of her guest bedroom. She felt a bit of sweat on her forehead and quickly wiped it off with her sleeve. It was only then that it occurred to her that Remus was looking at her with a confused look on his face.

"Er - are you feeling alright?" he asked, his green eyes looking extremely concerned. She sat up, feeling slightly dizzy.

"Yeah, I - I'm fine," she replied. "Just had a weird dream."

"About what?"

"Nothing."

"OK ..." he stood up and made his way towards the door. "Well, Dad made us breakfast and he told me to wake you up."

"Oh, shoot, is everyone waiting for me?"

"No, don't worry," he assured. "I just woke James up and Benjamin is refusing to get up."

She nodded and he left the room. She felt so shaken about her dream that she couldn't think for a moment.

Relax, she told herself, it's just a dream. It'll never happen. I would never ever kiss James Potter.

She had been at the Potters' for three days now. She didn't have much anger left in her so her interactions with James had just become extremely uncomfortable. He had barely tried to talk to her, though she had caught him staring at her loads of times.

The day she arrived, James had looked so perfect that she wondered if she should just forgive him. The worst part was, she had no one she could express her conflicting feelings to. James' parents and siblings were not a choice, and Benjamin would most likely tell James. And she didn't even want to think about the awkward conversation this would be if she tried to talk to her brother.

She hated the way she could never stay mad. Because she knew he deserved it, and she wanted to yell at him until her voice became hoarse, instead of running away. But he looked so upset, so heartbroken. And he hadn't insulted a single Slytherin the whole time she had been there! Well, besides his brother. Plus, it didn't help once she realized he had somehow grown even more attractive over the summer, which she didn't even know was possible.

The day before, Antheia had sent James, Benjamin, Thomas, and Daisy to pick up something from the library, which was a few minutes' bike ride away. Once they had gotten there, Benjamin and Thomas had disappeared, leaving Daisy alone with James. Once they exited the library, looking for the other two, they realized that a ton of paparazzi were waiting outside. Daisy almost jinxed Thomas and Benjamin once she found out that they had simply gone to get some drinks since they were thirsty.

Now, Daisy was changing out of her pajamas and into a soft, blue shirt with some buttons on the top. She got into some comfortable shorts and tied her hair up. She stumbled down the stairs and made her way toward the dining room, where everyone was already sitting. Daisy went into the kitchen to get herself a cup of lemonade.

"Morning, Daisy."

Daisy yelped, nearly dropping her cup. She turned around, seeing James Potter staring at her. He now looked very shocked at her yelp.
