"11 o'clock sharp and we cannot be late!" exclaimed Daisy, pushing her trolley as fast as she could. "Why aren't the lot of you hurrying?"

"Because it's 10:40 and we're five minutes away from the platform," sighed Thomas. "Slow down."

He was right. By the time Daisy had dragged the rest of her family to the 9¾, there were barely any families there. The train wasn't blowing much smoke and the workers seemed very calm indeed.

"At least we won't have to hurry!" said Daisy happily. She slowly loaded her trunk into a compartment and changed into her new robes. She brushed off her prefect's badge and by then, most of her friends had arrived.

"Wow, a prefect!" said Benjamin Thomas-Finnigan. Benjamin was one of the people that Daisy had missed most over the summer. "Keep going like that and you can rule over us all. With you and Thomas as prefects, we can get away with anything!"

"I'm not going to let you get away with your pranks, Benny Boy."

"Nobody calls me Benny Boy," grumbled Benjamin.

"I do. And I'm a prefect."

It was now 10:57 and Daisy's compartment had four other people: Thomas, Benjamin, Marlee Jordan, and Gwen Weasley-Lovegood.

"James is probably already on the train and looking for us," said Thomas.

"I'll go check outside, but I doubt I'll find anything," offered Daisy. "Who would be this late with four years of experience?"

Once she stepped off the train, however, she had her answer. Running towards her was a group of five, crazed-looking people, all hauling giant suitcases.

"Run, kids, run!" yelled Harry Potter, clearing the crowd of adoring fans as Antheia Lupin led her three children like ducks. "We only have twenty seconds!"

Daisy ran over to them, though it was hard to catch up.

"You still have three minutes!" she yelled loudly, so they could hear. Harry held up a hand and the other four stopped running.

"But — but my watch says it's 10:59," sputtered Lily Potter, holding up her bright purple watch for Daisy to inspect. She looked around the other clocks, all of which pointed to 10:57. Just then, the watch went completely haywire. "Huh. Sorry, Dad, Mum, it was broken."

Harry and Antheia both let out a deep sigh.

"We're great parents after all," said Antheia, high-fiving her husband. "Anyway, it's great to see you, Daisy. You've grown a lot."

"Alright, Wood? You've grown beautifuller ... I mean, more beautiful," said James slyly.

"Your grammar hasn't grown," said Daisy.

"Yeah, but I have," said James. "I'm way more mature now! Mum even lets me use the Muggle microwave."

"With supervision from me," said Remus, rolling his eyes. James ignored him and leaned down to kiss the back of her hand.

"Oi! Lay off my sister!" yelled a voice from overhead. All of them looked up to see Thomas frowning. "And get on the damned train! It's 10:59!"

Daisy jumped back onto the train and the three Potter children soon followed, after Antheia and Harry had given them each a tight hug goodbye.

"I'm going to go meet my friends," declared Remus.

"Still friends with that snobby Malfoy kid?" asked James, frowning. Remus glared at him.

"That's my best friend," he said. "And at least I'm not best friends with mum's ex-boyfriend's son."

"You know they're on good terms now. Dean and Seamus came to mum's party for her Niffler last year!"
