"Boys, the Quidditch match is in two days meaning it's time to do something to prepare," said James, while he as well as Daisy, Thomas, Benjamin, Gwen, and Marlee were sitting in the Great Hall. Daisy looked up from her large pile of pancakes.

"D'you mean practice?" she asked.

"No, I mean ..." he looked around to make sure that everyone's eyes were on him, "A prank! And I've got the perfect idea. I got this Long-lasting purple hair dye from Weasleys' Wizard Whizzes! I even got it for half the price for promising that I'd use it on Slytherins. The tagline says: 'Enough to make anyone look ridiculously stupid!'"

"That's beyond immature," said Marlee incredulously. "How would you even pull that off?"

"Ooh, I've got a plan!" piped Benjamin. "I heard the Slytherins booked the Quidditch field for tomorrow morning. We can sneak into their dorms and put some into their shampoo, then! And we could ask Remus for the password."

"Right, as if Remus would let you guys do that to his team," said Thomas, shaking his head. "But maybe ... we could trick him?"

"Ooh, what if Daisy asks for him for it?" suggested Gwen, leaning over. "She's too much of a goody-two-shoes to be suspected. I love you, Daisy, but it's true."

"Fine, you're right, but I'm not doing that," said Daisy. "Remus is my friend! I can't do something like that to him! Why can't you do it, Gwen?"

The boys thought for a moment, exchanging thoughtful glances.

"That's not a bad idea," said Thomas. "Gwen, do you think you could?"

"There's no way he trusts me enough!"

"Just – just tell him that Aunt Ginny wanted to give him something and wanted you to assemble it for him!" said James.

"Then I'd have to get him something!"

"Say that you wanted to see what the Slytherin dorms looked like!" suggested Benjamin. Daisy shot him a look.

"That's creepy," she said. "Just say that you had to use his owl, Moony."

"That's perfect!" exclaimed James. "OK, they'll be going for practice ... when?"

"Tomorrow at around ten o'clock in the morning," answered Benjamin.

"We'll go to the dorms five minutes after they leave, then," said Thomas. "Then, Gwen can talk to Remus, since he'll probably be outside saying bye to Malfoy since Malfoy's the Chaser. The rest of us will hide around the corner."

"Why do all of us have to go?" asked Marlee.

"Because Gwen can't hold the hair dye while she's talking to Remus, duh," said Thomas, as if this was an obvious fact. "And we need people to keep watch. Daisy and Marlee, the two of you can do that."

"Why do we have to be the ones keeping watch?" snapped Marlee. "Is it because we're girls? I bet Daisy and I could finish the job in half the time."

"Of course, it's not because you're girls," said Thomas. "We respect women! Right?"

"Yeah," said Benjamin, raising his arms.

"Of course, we do," nodded James. "It's just that this was our idea ..."

"Fine," said Marlee. "But do you guys know which year all of the Slytherin players are in? And how're you going to go up the girls' dormitories?"

"I got a list of the players and their years," said James proudly. "And the Slytherin Quidditch team doesn't have any girls this year. The former girl captain graduated last year and the new one's a bit ... old-fashioned."
