"Dez!" I yelled as she knelt onto the ground, being left open for Mason's attack.

She looked up to see Meri was still hanging onto the side of the arena. Moving her eyes to look at Mason, Meri reached up and removed the hook, colliding into Mason as he shot his gun once more, missing Dez by a few inches.

"You idiot!" he yelled at Meri. "I'll kill you for that!"

"No, not today," Odessa stood up, the magnet on her gauntlet opening up, bringing in the metal scraps and started to spin them around.

Mason's mech pulled out a new weapon, which was a giant metal spinning ball. The two of them collided into one another, but Odessa's rampage of spinning metal caused the mech's protective front to snap off and Mason got hit with a scrap part. The mech fell onto the ground and Odessa grabbed Carnage after everything stopped spinning. She got on top of Mason's mech and swung Carnage, but stopped short, one part of the blade near his eye.

"Have mercy," he pleaded.

"I'll give you," she reached down and picked Mason up by the front of his shirt. "The same mercy you showed my family thirteen years ago."

She grabbed the crown from Mason's head and placed it on hers, "Get out of my city!"

"You," Mason breathed out, realization crawling over his face.

The crowd was silent before someone jumped up, raising their arms in the air.

"Yeah! Junker Queen!"

The entire crowd jumped up and started chanting 'Junker Queen'. Odessa looked up and smiled, seeing everyone's support for their new ruler of Junkertown.

"That turned out alright," she said before giving the crowd a victorious pose before walking over to where I was.

The doors closed and I ran to her. She placed Carnage on the ground and opened her arms. Jumping into her embrace, she spun me around before setting me down on the ground.

"Ya did it!" I smiled, my hands cupping her face.

"We did it," she smiled, placing her forehead against mine.

I couldn't help but let out a breathless laugh as she held onto me tightly.

"Ya know," she pulled away after a bit, looking into my eyes. "A Queen needs someone right beside them."

She took off her crown and placed it on my head, smirking at me, "How would ya like to be my princess?"

"I-I-um," I stuttered, feeling my face growing warmer by the second.

She chuckled and kissed my cheek, "I'll take that as a yes."

"Y-Yes, o-o-of course, O-Odessa."

She pulled away and smiled down at me, "Look at ya, all flustered."

"You know how to get me going," I said, pulling away from her and taking off the crown, holding it in my hands. "Can you believe it, Dez?" I asked, looking at it.

"No, I can't," she came up behind me and placed her hands on my shoulders. "Seems almost like a dream now. What do ya think my thirteen year old self would say if she were 'ere?"

"Well," I turned and faced her. "She'd be proud of how you came from nothing." I reached up and placed the crown back on her head. "And fought to have everything."

She smiled and pulled me into a tight hug, "I wouldn't have fought for everything without ya, Y/N. Thank you."

"You're welcome, Dez."

"Now come on," she pulled away, grabbing my hand. "Meri has a place for us to stay now. It's not much, but I think it will work out."

We walked out of the building that had the arena in it. People of Junkertown were waiting for her to come out. They cheered her name and shot off their guns as we walked through the crowd. Meri and Geiger were waiting for us at the end of this long row of people.

"Howdy, Meri," Odessa said.

"Good fightin' out there," Meri said.

"I can say the same to ya both."

"Ya must be tired after the fight," she said turning. We followed after her to the house she had for us.

The houses were stacked basically on top and beside one another. So it was hard to have any privacy unless you got lucky. Meri stopped by the stairs that led up to the house.

"You're the very top one," Meri said. "No one is occupying the houses on either side of ya. So you can do whatever ya want up there."

"Thanks, Meri," Odessa said and jumped onto the first balcony, not even taking the stairs.

"There's a staircase for a reason!"

"Where's the fun in that?" Odessa asked as she walked to the top house.

I did the same as well, but struggled a bit. Meri sighed as she watched me struggle to pull myself up from the balcony. Getting situated, I walked up the stairs and Odessa opened the door. It was a small entry way and on the left hand side was the bedroom. From there, there was a small bathroom that only had a toilet, sink, and small shower. On the right side of the entry way was a small living space. There were two chairs and a TV. The only window was the one in the entry way.

"Not bad," I said, poking my head from around her.

"It's not like the places we had back in the Wastelands, but at least it's a roof over our heads."

"You would think that the ruler of Junkertown would have a better living space."

"Oh, Mason did, but I don't want to step one foot in there unless I have to. I'd rather live a bit more humble life here with ya."

We got things situated in the house and once the sun went down, we heard explosions coming from outside. I walked out onto the balcony to see there were fireworks going off in the sky. Looking down, there was a circular play area and kids were running around, play fighting one another. I chuckled as one mimicked Odessa when she was fighting against Mason during the final part of the fight. She came out from the house and stood behind me, seeing I was distracted by both the children and the fireworks. Moving the hair aside, she leaned down and placed her lips against the back of my neck. I shuddered slightly as she wrapped her arms around my waist, resting her head on my shoulder.

"Enjoying the view?" she asked, looking at the fireworks.

I turned and faced her, "Yeah, I am."

She smiled and pecked my lips before looking down at the kids.

"Look at all of 'em running around."

"Dez?"

"Yes?"

"H-Have ya ever considered having kids?"

"Not really," she said. "I wouldn't mind, but I fear I wouldn't be a good mother."

"Why's that?"

"Fighting and everything. I am afraid that I'd be scary to a child."

"You definitely aren't scary for them," we both looked down at the kids, who were still mimicking Odessa's fighting.

She smiled, "Ya know, maybe I'll think about it."
