Tracer zipped into the room, catching all of us off guard. The doors opened up and Winston walked through them, laughing at Tracer.

"You were never one to use doors," Winston said.

"They're so boring," Tracer said.

"I understand where you're coming from," Kiriko smiled.

"We have some news for you both," Winston said as he joined up with us.

"News?" Odessa asked, getting closer to Winston.

"Yes. I don't know how you're going to take it, but it needs to be said," Tracer said.

"We're listening," I reached over and grabbed Odessa's hand.

"The baby," Winston began.

"Is she alright?" Odessa asked.

"Doing well, actually. However," Winston looked over at Tracer.

Tracer sighed, "My girlfriend, Emily, and I took care of the baby while you were away on missions and other things you had to do here at Overwatch. I know you made a promise to the mother, but Emily and I fell in love with taking care of the child. So much so that we asked Winston if it was ok to take care of her from now on."

I looked over to see Odessa was trying to remain calm. This was her teammate, her comrade, someone she could trust, but it all felt too similar with what happened with Junkrat and Roadhog. We thought we could trust them, look how that turned out.

"Dez?" I asked her. "A-Are ya alright, love?"

"I don't blame ya for wanting to care for a child," Odessa finally said. "But I just feel that I have a duty to this child, to ensure that she will be safe and looked after. I thought I would be capable with takin' care of 'er with Y/N. I thought I could be a mother to a child, but from the looks of it, I may not be."

"We wanted to give you another opportunity," Winston said.

"Opportunity?" Odessa asked.

"We didn't know how you would feel when we broke the news to you, so we came up with an alternative. If you two are still looking at wanting a baby together, there is a process we can do where we take both of your DNA, combine it, and make a baby that way."

"Is it painful?" I asked.

"Not in the slightest," Winston said. "Very painless because you'd be under anesthesia."

"What is the process?" Odessa asked.

"So we're going to take an egg from one of you and then take the DNA of whomever we didn't take the egg out of. Combine the DNA and the egg together and then put it back in," Tracer said.

"That seems like a lot," I said. "But, Dez, love, if you're willin' to do that process, I'd be fine with whatever ya want to do."

"You're saying that we could have a child that looks like the both of us?" Odessa asked.

"Yes," Winston said.

Odessa looked over at me, "Are ya willin' to carry, princess?"

"I'll do whatever ya want me to do," I smiled and pecked her cheek.

"Let's do it," Odessa said.

"Splendid. Odessa, you don't need be asleep to get your DNA, but Y/N does. Kiriko, could you see that you get some blood from her?"

"Sure thing, Winston," Kiriko stood up and headed into the medical unit to get some needles. She came back in and got some blood from Odessa before heading back into the medical unit.

"Alright, Y/N, if you would please come in here," Kiriko said.

I stood up and walked over to where Kiriko was standing.

"Be careful with 'er. She can get a bit jumpy," Odessa snickered.

"Oh shut it, Dez," I smiled, walking into the room and the doors closed.

I laid down on the hospital bed and Kiriko put some IVs in my arm before placing a breathing mask over my face.

"Take deep breaths in, Y/N. You'll start to feel the effects of the anesthesia soon."

I nodded and closed my eyes, taking in deep breaths until I was passed out.

"Everything is ready," Kiriko said to Winston.

"Good. Unfortunately, we need to wait for Mercy to return to finish the process."

"Speaking of Mercy," Tracer said as the doors opened up, Mercy walking in.

"What is going on?" Mercy asked.

"We need you for a medical procedure," Winston said.

"What is it for?"

Tracer zipped over and explained everything to Mercy. She nodded her head, indicating she understood what was going on. She came over and finished the process.

"Alright, she can be taken off of the anesthesia," Mercy said. "Is this Junker Queen's fiance?"

"Wife now," Kiriko said.

"She's pretty," Mercy said and walked away, the doors opening up and she greeted Junker Queen.

Kiriko walked over to Odessa to give her the news.

"Y/N is doing well. She should be waking up soon," Kiriko said.

"Thank ya, Kiriko," Odessa smiled.

I blinked my eyes open and Tracer came over, removing the breathing mask from my face. She took out the IVs and helped me off of the hospital bed. I walked out of the room I was in and was met with Odessa waiting for me there.

"Well, everything is all done here. We can take you guys back to Junkertown when you're ready," Tracer said.

"Are we able to stay here for the night?" Odessa asked. "Don't want to tire ya out with flyin'."

"I don't mind, but of course. You're welcome to stay for the night. However, you'd have to bunk back with Kiriko."

"Are ya alright with that, Kiriko?" Odessa turned to her.

"Fine by me," she said.

The three of us headed into the small living space both Odessa and Kiriko had to share. Odessa wanted to go see Mercy before coming back into the room, so she walked off while I walked into the room with Kiriko.

"There's something I wish to inform you, Y/N."

"What is it, Kiriko?"

"While we were doing the whole process, there may be a chance where it will result in a miscarriage."

"How high is the percentage?"

"About 60%."

"That's kind of high, but still I believe in that 40%."

"I like your optimism. But if you ever need anything, Winston wanted to make sure I gave this to the you," she said and handed me a phone.

"This is one of those phones that people use, right?" I asked.

"Yes. Odessa knows how to use one so she can help you get acclimated to it. She also has one as well. But if you ever need to call Overwatch or either Mercy or myself, our contacts are already in there. So all you need to do is call."

"Thank you, Kiriko. How are we going to tell Odessa?" I asked.

She shrugged, "Your guess is as good as mine."
