After a nice dinner in a small restaurant, which had much better food than anything I had experienced in the Wastelands, Odessa took me to a place in the northern part of Junkertown. I figured this is what took her so long to return. She was mapping out where she wanted to go. And here I thought she was just looking for a place to take me out to dinner and not do something this elaborate.

"Watch ya step," she said as she led me up a narrow staircase that was actually the side of a house.

I held onto her hand as we made our way up the side and onto a different level of a housing development.

"Before I was banished to the Wasteland, there was this place I always took my siblings. It showed the most beautiful sight to see in Junkertown. However, it was dangerous to get up 'ere, so I had to make sure neither of 'em got hurt on the way to and from the house. If they did, my parents would scold me for taking my younger siblings out 'ere."

She moved a few wooden crates to make some steps for me to get up. She stepped on them first before reaching her hand out to me. I gladly accepted the help and she lifted me onto the roofs of many houses. She lifted herself up and onto the roof, standing up once she got her balance. Walking towards me, she grabbed my waist once more and together we walked along the roofs. We were making our way back towards the center of Junkertown, but we took an unexpected turn, away from the center and more towards where we lived. When we reached the stop, I looked down to see there strands of lights underneath the balconies and along the rails of the decks. There were kids running around with sparklers and little trinkets that spun in the wind. I smiled and Odessa sat down, patting the empty space beside her. Sitting down beside her, we watched as the kids were running around and the parents were watching, talking and laughing to one another. I leaned against her shoulder, looking into the sky to see the moon poking out from the gray clouds. She reached up and wrapped her arm around my waist, pulling me closer to her.

"This all feels surreal," I said, looking at the moon.

"That we're back in Junkertown?"

"Not only that, but you are ruling now and everything. Ya hold the power of this town."

"It's a bit overwhelming now that I think about it. I'm afraid that I will mess up or make some mistakes."

"We're all human, Dez. Of course we're going to make mistakes and stumble over our own feet. It's all about picking ourselves back up and recognizing the mistakes we've made. We make them to learn from them."

She nodded her head, "I just want to do everything I can to make sure you're safe. Along with the people here in Junker Town."

"With how you are," I ran my hand along her thigh. "You're going to do just fine in that department."

She glanced over at me, seeing the look I had in my eyes. Smiling, she lifted her other hand up and placed it underneath my chin, pulling me towards her. Placing her lips lightly against mine, I smiled and kissed her back, but I didn't like how shy she was being. Maybe it was because we were around other people. I didn't care, though. If she wanted to show me off, she might as well, right? I reached up and placed my hands on her cheeks, pulling her closer to me, pressing my lips firmly against hers. She was surprised by the sudden change because she pulled away, looking a bit shocked.

"Y-Y/N?"

"If ya want to show me off to this place," I said and moved to where I sat on her lap, my arms wrapping around her neck, digging my hands into the back of her hair. "Ya might as well."

The shocked look was replaced with a dark one. She smirked and placed her hands on my hips, rubbing little circles against my shirt. I pulled her towards me once more and we started to make out with one another. I tried to silence my moans against her mouth since I didn't want anyone to hear us, but they were surely going to see us with how close we were to the others.

"Aye, is that the Queen up there?" someone asked.

That was to be expected.

We pulled away from one another and we looked down at the others. They were all staring up at us, their mouths hanging open slightly.

"If ya got a problem with it," Odessa yelled. "You've gotta bring your grievances to me and to me only!"

They went back to what they were doing and I looked over at Odessa.

"M-Maybe we should go somewhere else."

"Nah, let them judge if they're going to judge. I still need to show ya some love," she said and went back to kissing me.

I chuckled slightly with how hungry she became, wanting to explore every inch of me not only in my mouth, but my body. The pads of her fingers trailed along my arms before running along my thighs, stopping in the middle. She squeezed them firmly, but was still gentle with it. I moaned slightly against her lips, but she wanted to hear more of it. Something changed in her since that night we shared when she returned from the Burning Lands. While she was gentle and careful with her actions, while still dominating, she was now craving this. She wanted more of me than what she got from that night.

I pulled away from her, needing to breathe. She took in deep breaths and looked into my eyes, some lust appearing, but it wasn't that lust from a predator. The right corner of my mouth bent upwards, smirking at her as I moved my head, looking down at her.

"Someone want to challenge me?" she asked, her grip on my thighs getting a bit stronger.

"I want to have some fun with ya," I whispered into her ear.

"Consider it done," she stood up, carrying me back to where we came and back towards the house.

I opened my eyes when the sun had shone through the window. Blinking my eyes, letting the tears slide down before rubbing them away, I looked around the bedroom. Realization set in and I felt this heavy weight on my abdomen. Looking down, Odessa had her head resting against my stomach with her arms wrapped around me tightly. I smiled, running my hands through her hair.
