-Dani's point of view -

I am led into a room by a nurse she is sweet and is gentle, She sits me down and holds my hands as I cry.

"You're okay honey"
"Deep breaths"

No

I can't breathe

There's an alcohol reader in her hand

Fuck no

She can't do that

I haven't had a drop in two years

This can't be right

- Miles point of view -

The nurse opens the door to the room Dani is in, I see her and she looks worse, Her eyes are bloodshot and her knuckles are red with blood, Her face is pale and has no colour her nose is tilted to the left and her clothes are yellow, Her hair is messy and is all over the place.

I walk towards her and bend down and hold her hands in mine, She keeps her head down and I plant a kiss on the top of her head.

"You're okay Dani"

"I'm not"

"You are, You're safe with me"

"She has an alcohol reader in her hand Miles"

"She just wants to check okay?

"I haven't had any"

"We don't know that Dani"

"I'm scared Miles"

"That's understandable"
"Deep breaths"

"Can you stay with me when she does it?

"Of course I can"

"Thank you"

I look up at the nurse and she walks towards Dani with the reader, I hold Dani's hands and she squeezes them tight I can see this brings back bad memories for her but I know she's strong. The nurse bends down and holds Dani's face up as she puts the end of the alcohol reader in her mouth,

"You're safe"

The nurse holds it there until it beeps she takes it out and looks at it, When she does a worried look comes onto her face, She falls into her seat and writes something down.

"What's happening Miles? Dani asks worried,

"Just stay here"

I go over to the nurse and she picks the reader up and takes me hand, she leads me outside and she fidgets with her hands.

"What happened?
"What does it say?
