I sit down on the couch exhausted when my phone beeps with messages, I grab it and see all the texts that I will look at later but a text from Miles comes through.

When you were in hospital I fed Buddy and cleaned your house, He's a funny dog xx

I smile at the texts Miles sent, He's really trying to be better and I can see it. I tell Buddy to come onto the couch and he does happily he cuddles up to me and falls asleep, I sit there thinking about everything and realise I have to do my driving test again and I have to pay my fine. I call the police station and give them my bank details and then organise for me to do my test tomorrow, I order a pizza and wait.
