The rays of bright sun fell sharply, prompting Viola to fidget.
The cold breeze started to hit her nose, prompting her to turn on the other side.
The seat ended, and her head fell forward. Before, she had the time to panic, a hand held on to her cheek.
"This is your fourth time." came a voice.
She squinted her vision, and then sat straight, trying to get a sense of reality.
She was in a car, a driving car.
Surrounding seemed different than the barren mountains she last saw. Rather, there was green grass on one side and a lake on the other.
"You up?" Taehyung asked.
She turned to him, and then squinted her vision even more.
Taehyung was driving along, there was a cap on his head, and sunglasses on his eyes.
He was grinning, and that grin turned into a laugh soon.
"You sure look like a mess right now." he said cheekily, pulling one of his hand off of the steering wheel to fix her hair.
Viola was quick to push his hand away.
"Was I sleeping?" she questioned more to herself.
"Yeah, for past 6 hours maybe."
She chose to look at him again, her mouth agape, eyes wide; as if something was totally absurd.
Taehyung chuckled, "Why are you acting cute?"
"Excuse me!"
The male raised his eyebrow, dodging off her anger. He stopped the car.
"Wash your face, maybe then you'll understand things better."
Viola watched him getting out, and then she turned towards the mirror on her side, finding her hair all tousled up, eyelashes prickled with dust. She looked anything but cute, she thought.
She went out, following Taehyung who was already sitting on a rock by the lake.
"Where are we?" she asked, with her arms behind her back.
"I don't know, but it's beautiful." he replied, standing up and asking her to sit on his place instead.
"The lake is clean, you can take your time." he smiled and then took a step back, watching her splash water on her face and then wetting her hair.
"Were you driving the whole night?" she asked without looking, and so did not catch him nodding.
She stood up.
"Why did you let me sleep?"
"you were tired."
"Then, you should've wake me up after an hour or so, we could have switched." She now faced him.
Taehyung pursed his mouth.
"Well, you were sleeping for the first time... it was really peaceful for me." he joked.
She kept her gaze on him for few seconds.
"Where did you get the glasses and cap from?" she asked, and in turn Taehyung removed the shades passing it to her.
"Someone left it on the side of lake when I was washing my face."
Viola almost took the shades but then flicked her hand away as if they were on fire.
