"A key always makes a door to your heart."
"Residing right where you breathe apart."
"Though it maybe for one lock only."
"You will never find it lonely."
Viola opened her eyes, this was nth time that her mind decide to sing along a repressed lullaby, which she though only had good memories with it, but the way it haunted her right now was turning it into a nightmare. She tossed and turned but it did not help ease the voice in her mind, the stinging pain of carrying something so heavy without knowing it.
Her breathe felt numb, prompting her to sit up straight.
She took the necklace off of her chest, staring at it for a minute or two.
Why now? After all this time... why now?
The courage to face this hard feeling was catastrophic, Viola was unable to feel so much, specially because she did not want to feel anything at the moment. Hence, she clasped her fist around the necklace, looking at the thrash bin; she thought she should throw it away, and be free from this cage.
Before her intrusive thought could evade her, there was a knock on the door. Viola was quick to lay down, pretending to be asleep.
The door knocked again.
Jennie woke up to the sound of it, her eyes fell towards the window, sun was already up.
She gave a quick glance over Viola, who was still sleeping, before standing up to open the door.
Jimin was standing outside. She looked at him with a questionable gaze, while the latter just smiled in return.
"Hungry?" he asked.
"Alot." she replied, before slipping outside, closing the door behind her.
Jennie told him that Viola had finally gone to sleep, further asking about Alac,
"he is fine.. I guess a little sleep will do him wonders." he assured her.
The two walked out to the living room, which was empty, and silent. Jimin picked the bag that Yoongi had given him earlier, rummaging inside to search for something edible.
Jennie risked a careful glance at him, he was still talking about Alac, how it would be hard for him, and that there was nothing he could do to make it better. Though, he did not know Alac enough, but his tone was kind and considerate.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" he stood straight holding a packet of biscuit in his hand.
The female sighed out, shaking her head in denial.
"You got stuck in this mess... without any reason." She said.
Jimin left a short chuckle.
"That's not true." he looked at her."How so?"
"My grandfather used to serve Taehyung's family, and then my father was supposed to take care of him..." he said.
"...but he died before he could have kept the legacy going." he pursed his mouth.
"..in that fire... when Taehyung lost his family, I lost my father too."Jennie parted her mouth,
"I'm sorry, I didn't know." eyes inclining in careful manner."Why are you sorry?" Jimin grinned lightly, his palm extending to nudge her chin.
