Chapter 48 ~ A Reality or Just Another Lie?

"Sandoval?" Tanong ko. He's joking.

"Yeah, Vincent Sandoval. Brother of Sebastian." Iniumang ng isa sa mga tauhan niya sa akin ang birth certificate ni V at pati na rin ang school I.D niya nung grade school siya.

Kinuha ko yon at itinapon.

I don't want to accept that information so I asked him another question.

"Anong atraso ni Ashton sayo? Bakit pati siya nadadamay?" He laughed. Like a demon. But before he answered, nakita ko si...

K-Karen? She's dressed like the other girl mafia reapers.

The hell.. Ano to? Pati ba naman siya niloko rin ako?

"The Greenes are trying to get on my way. Ashton's grandfather is the owner of St. Louis Academy, fortunately, he died 3 years ago. And now, Ashton's father is trying to get the chemical mixture from that room but he always fail."

"Why did you make me poison Matthew? Walang kamuwang-muwang yung bata!"

"Just want to hit one of that old hag's weakest point. Ashton Greene entered that school to get that mixture so I want you to get rid of him. You know what, I'm doing you a favor here."

Wtf? Favor? Killing Ashton? Wow. Bullcrap.

"I want you to take your revenge. He's using you to get informations about that mixture! He knows your identity, Alex. When I knew about it, I went to that school and observed him. Sebastian was against it, though. Ashton boy didn't know your memories got erased so he always thought he can get infos from you."

I froze. Ashton used me? No, no. This is not fckng true.

"STOP IT, YOU LIAR!" I exclaimed. NO. Hindi ko siya dapat paniwalaan. Si Ashton lang dapat ang pinaniniwalaan ko.

But at the back of my mind, nandun pa rin ang doubts ko.

Totoo kaya lahat ng ipinakita ni Ashton sa akin? O parte lang yun ng plano niya?

Kaya ba natitiis niyang gawin ang kung anu-anong bagay para lang makuha sa akin ang formula ng pesteng mixture na yan?

"I don't know why I'm doing this for you, Alex."

Kaya niya ba nasabi yan sa akin kagabi?

Oh God, Ashton.

Kasinungalingan ang buong buhay ko. Lahat ng tao sa paligid ko, niloloko ako.

At ako naman itong si tanga, nagpaloko rin. Si V... si Basty.. si Sebastian.. oo nga pala, iisang tao lang sila..

At pati ang taong hindi ko inaakalang lolokohin ako.. pati si Karen.
